RegularGuyRant.com endorsed candidate continues to gain momentum in Mississippis 2nd Congressional District and has now received a boost from none other than Sarah Palin.
-------------- snip
Its time for a change in Mississippis 2nd Congressional District and I cant think of a better person to lead that change than Bill Marcy.
Governor Palin is right and that is it comes down to values and judgment. With an economy on the brink of collapse due to the reckless mismanagement of a money hungry Congress, we (Mississippi and the nation) need new ideas and people we can trust.

Past time to send Bennie out to pasture.
He’s a slimebag and a crook.
Sure hope Bill Marcy is successful in dumping Bennie!
Here’s the candidate running against the odious Bennie Thompson in MS-2.
Very, very, very proud to see all of the good African American candidates the GOP is fielding this cycle.
The MS-02 is one of the least liberal black-majority districts in the nation, and it traditionally has low turnout among black voters, so Democrat Bennie Thompson is not entirely safe. President Bush got 41% in 2000 and 40% in 2004 despite fairly high black turnout in those presidential-election years (albeit nowhere near as high as in 2008 with Obama on the ballot). Black conservative Republican Clinton LeSueur lost to Bennie Thompson by only 9.4% in 2002 (which, not being a presidential year, had lower black turnout), and in as strongly a Republican and anti-incumbent environment as we have this year (and with no statewide races in MS, so Thompson will not get any help atop the ballot), black conservative Republican Bill Marcy just might pull off the upset.
I doubt Bennie can lose given demographics on that district but is it true that Gene may lose on the coast?
that would be big
Proud to see this but I am afraid if Obama,Nancy and Harry all endorsed Bill Marcy, Bennie would still win in a landslide.
Quality Black Republican candidates run every cycle. Largely in rat seats where they lose.
This time we will get a few elected. At least 3 I hope since there hasn’t been more than 2 at once in modern times.
The latest poll for MS-02 from JMC Enterprises shows Democrat Congressman Bennie Thompson leading Republican Bill Marcy by only 42% to 41% among likely voters in a sample adjuested for it to be 50% black and 50% white: http://www.nationalreview.com/campaign-spot/251156/can-deep-south-d12-district-be-play
