National Review Online had an email exchange with NPR regarding the sacking of Juan Williams. Asked what exactly Williams said that NPR deemed inappropriate, Anna Christopher, NPR's senior manager of media relations, wrote: "We aren't going to get into a back and forth over semantics. The comment violated our ethics guidelines, and offended many in doing so" (emphasis added).
UPDATE: Vivian Schiller, the CEO of NPR, told an audience at the Atlanta Press Club that Williams should have kept his opinions between himself and "his psychiatrist or publicist."
Because he is black. When will everyone wake up and realize it is the LEFT who hates the blacks, not us.
When you have a 1/2 hour, check out this must see video...
NPR are Racists!
Absolute contempt for their fellow citizens who are
not supposed to have feelings of fear.
>>Williams should have kept his opinions between himself and “his psychiatrist or publicist
THe real idiots here are the goofy NPR pseudo-humans. I can’t believe everyone falls in line behind them like they did something smart here.
Come on main stream media.......do your job
I see no reason why the country has a need for NPR when it has CNN, MSNBC, the MSM and other leftist mouthpieces — especially when I have to support it. This is another matter that the new Congress must address.
Get rid of it.

And Juan...
if you don't mind, please leave by the back door...
And their job will be, in their eyes, to applaud npr.
“NPR’s official line (about NPR’s commentators not voicing opinions) was already laughable. Nina Totenberg, NPR’s longtime legal reporter appears weekly on a show called Inside Washington. She expresses opinions, if that’s not too lofty a word for them, almost non-stop.
Libs are stupid, whacko idiots.
“And Juan...
if you don’t mind, please leave by the back door...”
After you`ve finished cleaning the toilets, that is.
Anybody know which enumerated power the Feds use to give money to NPR ??
Time to send that propaganda machine to the junk heap. Remind you congressmen to dump NPR.
I turned off NPR 15 years ago. It is nauseating to listen to their PC socialist drivel.
Bye, bye Mr. NPR guy
Told your story to O'Reilly and you didn't lie!
Those communist dollars that Soros sent
Made your job at NPR die...
Made your job at NPR die!
Very, very scary!
I hope he sues them to hell and back. That “psychiatrist” statement is pure libel, slander and defamation of character. $$$$$MILLION$$$$$$$$
OK. Since NPR is tax-payer funded, I want to see the specific guideline Williams violated. I would also like a list of those he offended. They should have no problem going on the record. Once we have that "list" (ha ha, like we'll ever see THAT!), then those people can be told that there is no right to not be offended.
Also, we can say that their views offend us, so they should be fired from NPR if they work there. If they don't, then it should not matter to NPR that they were offended.
“I hope he sues them to hell and back. That psychiatrist statement is pure libel, slander and defamation of character. $$$$$MILLION$$$$$$$$”
I just said that to my hubby about 15 mins ago. If he sues, I think he’ll win.
Would that be the, ‘Whites Only’ bathroom, or the ‘Blacks Only’ bathrooms?
Absolute contempt for the American People.
I think the term you are looking for is; Pompous.
