Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) has gone on a late-season spending spree to help Democratic candidates.
A new campaign finance report shows Schumer cut two checks to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) worth $1 million each in September.
He has also poured money from his campaign account into state parties around the country. Friends of Schumer gave $250,000 to the Nevada State Democratic Party on Sept. 7, a crucial boost to embattled Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.).

Hmmmmmm, looks like the scumbag Schumer is trying to buy Harry’s seat among dimoKKKRATS.
“Friends of Schumer”
rent-a-pol in action.
Oughta be illegal,,,,,,,,,,,
I’m thinking that he had to funnel it through the State Party to protect Harry from the PR of accepting a NY bribe. Shoosh, Schummer ain’t all that popular outside of NY.
The Democratic coffers are going to be quite a bit lighter after November 2, and prayerfully, there won’t be much to show for all the spending.
So how does this work? Chuck the Schmuck is allowed to give whatever he wants, but the rest of us peons and corporations are limited to a thousand bucks or something?
ML/NJ
I love how no one will cover his competition because the race isn't newsworthy.
I believe he is free to donate money in his campaign warchest to any candidate for any Federal Office.
(crickets)
It’s not his personal funds, it’s money that was donated to his campaign. He can “regift” it to other Federal candidates. Remember who writes these fercockta laws.
