Those 90 laps led were in most part due to Jr calling his own pit stops and getting tires when LM wanted to stay out. Then staying out two stops later, saying he missed the commitment cone lol - and getting the caution he wanted so the leaders had to pit putting him in 3rd and then taking the lead - Jr was a great driver and crew chief yesterday. He’s learned that Lance at times panics and makes the wrong calls because he really has no race experience.
Of course, the box adjusted the car out of competition at the end so he was stuck in 7th and unable to move back up.
