I believe much of the Obie agenda can be repealed. It will take the Republicans putting in place leadership who can read the tea leaves for those Dems who are up for reelection in 2012. Many Republicans are making the same mistake we accuse Dems and Libs of making by assuming that people's behavior will not change when their livelihood is endangered.

But it boils down to leadership. With DeMint it is doable. McConnell, no way. Same way with the House leadership.

Here's my take.

If this is indeed happening and I guess it is, its still the same old crap. A huge battle for the heart and soul of the party.

The rinos probably think that if we defect and go third party they can keep control and still get us to vote for them in the end.

For me I still want to kick their ass.

I still want to slowly but surely get rid of all these rino bastards and revive the party since I know what happens if we go third party. And there is no guarantee even more "moderates" won't take over a third party. If we keep on kicking their ass they will slowly but surely dwindle and every election cycle we can get rid of more and more of them until they are gone and get the message.

Whomever the leader if they don’t have conservative values and principles they go. Whether its 6 years or 6 months. We keep donating to individual candidates and supporting tea party/Palin initiatives and sooner or sooner they will get it.
And, in the end they will be gone and we will still be here.
