Rush Limbaugh: Latest Obama photos look 'demonic'

With Halloween less than two weeks away, radio giant Rush Limbaugh took a brief moment today to say President Obama looks "demonic" in some news photographs that have been published online, including high-traffic sites such as the Drudge Report. "These pictures, they look demonic. And I don't say this lightly," Limbaugh said as he opened his program. "There are a couple pictures, and the eyes, I'm not saying anything here, but just look," he remarked about the president who has been campaigning for the re-election of fellow Democrats. "It is strange that these pictures would be released ... it's very, very, very strange." "An American president has never had facial expressions like this," Limbaugh said. "At least we've never seen photos of an American president with facial expressions like this."

I agree. It doesn't mean anything demonic, but it does tell me that the press is not into the same level of self censorship that they were in the 2008 when anything less than a halo effect around him was considered bad journalism.

I’m sure these are campaign speeches - Obama trying to energize his base. However, I don’t remember any POTUS giving angry speeches designed to whip up the anger of some groups of Americans against others. Absolutely not presidential.

Phew! It's not just me! I watched his latest rally speech and was struck by how haunting he looked and how his speaking style had slid into an almost out-of-breath preaching style. I was expecting a Howard Dean moment any minute.
