Dem Rep. Ed Perlmutter slapped GOP challenger Ryan Frazier, a veteran, during their debate while arguing over Obamacare. Via Jammie Wearing Fool:
Michael Sadoval at NRO reported on the incident:
Democratic Rep. Ed Perlmutter and GOP challenger Ryan Frazier verbally sparred over many issues, from energy and taxes to foreign policy and the national debt. But it was during an exchange over health care, and the health care bill itself, that Perlmutter swats Fraziers hand. Frazier quickly responded and Perlmutter apologized immediately:
Ed, dont hit me man, come on! said Frazier.
What state & district is this?
There’s tort reform in Obamacare?
oh come on....
without looking, they both sound like woman
I think it’s a big deal. The left is violent. They can no longer handle conflict because they are being challenged and the public isn’t being led by the nose. Scared, angry and violent. The modern left.
Slap? ...please.
Or, what if Rick Lazio "invaded" Hillary's! space.
CO-7
Perlmutter is a liberal jer. I’m looking forward to seeing him gone.
It was closer to a caress than a slap.
Yeah, pretty obvious that it was incidental contact. He even apologized.
Remember the Lazio/Clinton debate.....All he did was WALK to her....
jer = jerk. And that was a nothing “slap”. Two guys waving their hands around.
I know, I know. But you gotta see the humor in it... :-)
A few weeks ago, NOW staged a protest against Alan Simpson because he said that Social Security was a “Cow with 300 million tits”, and NOW was calling for him to resign...Two weeks after that NOW endorsed Jerry Brown after he called Meg Whitman a whore.
I just think it’s funny to mock the left’s faux outrage over everything...
We would NEVER hear the end of it... never.
Uhm... Yawn.
I didn’t see the “alleged” slap.
“without looking, they both sound like woman”
No. They’re both boys. Ryan Frazier is a great guy and a really good conservative. Colorado and America would be well served by him in Congress.
“what page?”
Oh, come on.
Do better than that, man!
It wasn’t a slap but it was a dismissive gesture of frustration at being challenged over his beliefs. The Democrats don’t like being challenged. It makes them wonder why their media won’t step in and help.
