I think that if we unknowingly eat meat that has been offered to other gods, God will forgive us. Since now we are aware that this is done, we can always ask the butcher if he knows the history of the meat we're about to purchase.

Blessing our meals and prayer before eating is important now. It would break any curse placed upon our foods. God will take care of the rest. He's cool that way. He gives us many ways to protect ourselves just as long as we look up to Him.

It's not even considered to be a sin. Eating it doesn't alienate you from God. Not eating it doesn't bring you closer to God. I Cor 8:3-10
