Good thing I hate peas.
Now if it was broccoli, I’d be in trouble.

If the veggies are from China, shouldn’t it be “grass”?

Big media had to get in an anti-WalMart cheap shot with the headline.

More Walmart food news:

USDA suspends Tyson deli meat plant in Buffalo

Snips:

.Meat processing was temporarily suspended at Tyson's deli meats plant in Buffalo, NY, an action that by week's end put 480 people out of work.

. Most of the recalled products--various kinds of meats in "Marketside Grab and Go" sandwiches--were sold nationally in Wal-Mart stores.   A sample collected at a retail store in Georgia tested positive for Listeria and led to the recall.

When the story first broke, it was just Kroger listed.

Look how the title only lists Walmart, now....

They only mention WalMart in the title but it includes Krogers and Great Value, also.

LOL, I was making green chiles chowder earlier, and I knew some frozen Great Value frozen veggies were recalled, but had no desire to make a trip to the store...so, I didn’t look to see which ones were recalled...The Ignorance is Bliss/Take my Chances theory..

I am glad to see the GV frozen corn is not on recall because I already ate the chowder. It was darned good, too.

Pictsweet makes good bagged, frozen vegetables. Use’em all the time. Not peas though. Not a big fan of peas, even if they do have glass in them.

Shards of glass in the peas?! And it’s not even Halloween yet!
