Frozen Vegetables Sold at Walmart May Contain Glass

A company in Tennessee is recalling some packages of frozen vegetables because they may contain glass fragments.

Pictsweet said Friday that 24,000 pounds of packages were distributed to Kroger stores in the southeastern U.S. and Walmart stores throughout the U.S.

Reminds of the current anti tobacco commercial that parodies a company that uses glass in their food product and has to recall their product for being “unsafe”. Not related I know, but it popped into my head. Damn those anti-smoking nazi’s.

USDA suspends Tyson deli meat plant in Buffalo

.Meat processing was temporarily suspended at Tyson's deli meats plant in Buffalo, NY, an action that by week's end put 480 people out of work.

. Most of the recalled products--various kinds of meats in "Marketside Grab and Go" sandwiches--were sold nationally in Wal-Mart stores.   A sample collected at a retail store in Georgia tested positive for Listeria and led to the recall.
