Fetal Pain Abortion Law takes Effect in Nebraska, Could Set national Trend

Lincoln, NE -- A new fetal pain law is taking effect today in Nebraska that requires abortion practitioners to inform women of the pain an unborn baby will likely feel during the abortion. The law could set a national trend of other states and Congress considering such measures and could lead to a Supreme Court battle.

Sadly, this law won’t change anything. I was talking to the little lady about abortion last night, and we both agreed that even if abortion is made illegal through legislation, there will still be incidents of back alley abortions with metal hangers, and the Liberals will laud the health care initiative as “working” because women can still get abortions.

We live in a sick, twisted, morally corrupt world.

National trend? It took centuries for abolitionism to gain momentum and it will take at least that long to abolish infant murder.

What an excellent idea. It could start a movement.

There is no force in the world which can abolish human cruelty.

That’s a very sad but true statement. I truly believe, however, that by educating young women about abortion we will achieve a more pro-life society. There’s nothing auspicious or proper about abortion, and until young women start respecting themselves and their bodies and we do away with this “free love” BS, abortions are going to continue with the unwashed, ignorant masses.

We live in a corrupt and imperfect world and you are right that even an outright ban would not solve the problem. Our work will never be done while we remain on Earth, but the key is to change hearts and minds. People used to think slavery was acceptable, but now no one in their right mind (in the West anyway) would propose it. I am certain that before long, abortion will be viewed the same way.

I just wish this was done for early term abortions.Since the spine is something that developes usually befe a woman knows she’s pregnant there is a very good possiblity that one done at 6 weeks is exteremely painful for the child especially knowing how they are usually preformed.

Every so often my state does something right, outside of college football, I’m just this is one of them.

It will have an effect, I believe.

Currently, the abortion providers are able to imply to their “clients” that if there was anything wrong with it, there’d be laws against it.

They lie and tell the women that it’s no big deal, it’s just a “clump of cells” in the “fish stage of evolutionary development”.
