House Whip Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) says he really believes the black vote will be the "secret weapon" for Democrats in the upcoming midterm elections. "The black vote is, in fact, significantly engaged," he said on MSNBC.

No, I beg to disagree with Representative Jim Clyburn. I believe there are many Black folks that are turned off by POTUS Obama and realize how harmful he is presently to American Blacks and how hurtful he will be as the future unfolds. American Blacks will be hurting a long time after Obama is dispatched out of office in disgrace. The overwhelming majority of “other” Americans will hold American Blacks responsible for this failed “UnAmerican”, destroyer of our economy POTUS. I also think that most American Blacks are playing “the Obama thing” very close to the vest and therefore they are publically mum on how they really feel. We should get a good view of where they truly stand on the evening of November 2, 2010. IMHO, for their own good, thye best broom Obama into oblivion. He is no friend of American Blacks. Never was and never will be. His God is not in heaven, it is him, and him only. He could care less about Blacks or any other Americans. He cares only about himself and his warped political dogma!!! Just one man’s opinion.
I hate to break this to you, James, but the entire population of blacks in the U.S. is 12%, and I'm not talking about voting age.

You're exactly correct. The same holds true for the much-vaunted "youth vote".
The dregs of humanity showed up for The One, but I doubt if most of them even realize there's a major election happening next month.
There is no longer a way to separate the two. The Dems have the blacks firmly planted where they want them.....dependents on the dole and on the plantation. And, very very sad to say, the dependents seem content to be irrelevant and simply called upon to come out on election day to continue their plantation nation. Drugs, bad school systems, high drop out rates, crime, high unemployment, 70% out of wedlock births. The only “American dream” that exists is to become a rapper or a professional athlete.
I'm the sole conservative of a very large black family. When I was back home visiting them last April, they were all eerily quiet about Obama. When our conversations veered into the area of politics, not a single one of them mentioned his name. Not once.
I got a sense that they're all quietly disturbed about what he's turned out to be.
And, I didn't even say, "Told ya!" (though I would have dearly loved to.)
