GCCC was scheduled Tuesday to host Diversity Day, an all-day program for both its college students and juniors and seniors from up to 20 western Kansas high schools. The program planned to feature keynote speakers and other programs to immerse high school students in campus life.
Organizers decided to cancel the program last week because only a handful of high schools out of 19 had committed to attending, according to Steve Quakenbush, director of information services and publications at GCCC.

Glad to see some having the Sense to bow out from that ...”Diversity” BS!!
“diversity day”, sheesh, it never ends with these pansy liberals
My wife gets on me because I get ticked off when anyone starts harping about the “joys and strength” of diversity.
I told her last time, that a prison has a pretty diverse population too, but that doesnt make me want to go hang out in one. Quality of charecter should be the measuring stick, not how much of a freak you are.
Well Steve, what does this scream at you?
Just who are the morons coming up with this crap? Diversity day is some kind of liberal wet dream. I “live” in MD. Come here to see the result of this vaulted “diversity”. There is a reason they call this the Freak State.
I noticed the tornado shelter posters were in spanish, vietnamese, and english.
The best part of that t shirt is you can get it in two styles so you can make sure your brand is represented.
” I live in MD. Come here to see the result of this vaulted diversity.”
...we escaped from Maryland 5 years ago...we couldn’t take it any more...we now live in a county that’s 98% Anglo-European/Judeo-Christian...what a pleasant difference it is to dwell among people with the same cultural values.
Why do those AK-47’s all have different names?
Multiculturalism: Epic Fail
ROFL.
Rebelbase is demonstrating expert use of a Columbia journalism degree.
Thank you, Reb. Now please demonstrate for the people how to identify air craft:
Maybe they should cut all the money the schools allocate for this stupidity and buy text books instead. Just a suggestion.
Pistols for every purpose.
I’m thinking of buying that t-shirt for my libdem sister who lives in the East Bay (SF Bay Area).
Tell your wife what Margaret Thatcher says:
“Britain and America are two of the most tolerant societies in history, having demonstrated that tolerance by welcoming refugees and immigrants from all parts of the world and then turning them into British and American citizens by inducting them into the national community. These immigrants learned our language and adopted our history as their own. Such cultural inclusion is, in fact, the only way to achieve a successful multi-ethnic society. . .
“The concept of multiculturalism threatens to unravel all that good work. Here is a genuinely utopian enterprise, more utopian indeed than the Tower of Babel. . . . The U.S. is moving toward a system in which the government presides over a number of different social groups, some of which have their own language and type of education. This approach undermines social unity and allows construction of a multicultural society, which is the very opposite of America’s previous practice. The government aims to supervise these different groups and keep the peace by redistributing income from one to another.”
“Thus the utopia of multiculturalism involves a bureaucratic class presiding over a nation divided into a variety of ethnic nationalities. That, of course, looks awfully like the old Soviet Union. Such a system cannot work, and its failure is likely to inflict great damage on the people, their traditions, and their liberties.”
— Lady Margaret,Thatcher, “Resisting the Utopian Impulse”
Wow, that’s a great quote. Thanks for posting.
I like the way Pam Geller of Atlas Shrugged puts it: ‘Nationalism is a good thing. National identity is a good thing.’ American exceptionalism needs to be revived for it is the truth of what has arisen within humanity that is more noble of collective human endeavor than anything which has come before.
We’ve added a few: Samoli, Laotian. Of course, we still need pictures for those who can’t read.
