Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) said people were tricked into "liar loans" that they could not afford.
She uses the word "tricked" at least 3 times, and claims that all irresponsible mortgage owners were simply too stupid to know any better.
Maxine Waters wouldn't answer if her husband's bank is doing principal write-offs as she is suggesting other banks are doing. She brushed off the question and said this interview is not about her husband.

Well, lets be honest. Maxine Waters does a good job representing her constituency.

In California, property taxes are based on the purchase price of a house or other property, per Prop 13 passed in 1978. The tax is 1% of the price of the house PLUS any bond issues in your county.
The value of same house, as long as you own it, cannot be raised more than 2% per year, per Prop 13.
All these people are paying taxes on the value of the houses they bought.
Now Maxine wants the principal dropped down—to whatever value, I don’t know—& says all the properties were overvalued in the first place. Who is she to prove that fact? Contractors were paid—prior owners were paid—taxes were paid on those proceeds. Transfer taxes based on the prices of the houses were paid to the counties!!!
How would she get the state to drop the value on the property taxes?
IS she got such a drop—it would have to apply to EVERY property owner in the state-—WHITE/ASIAN/HISPANIC—everybody—not just Maxine’s black constituents. Otherwise it would be discrimination!!!
IF she did get such a drop in the values of the homes & the accompanying property taxes, this would reduce further the monies going to each & every county in California.
California is teetering on bankruptcy now & has been for a number of years.
Maxine could bring California down completely with this attempt at getting more handouts for her ‘peoples’.
She doesn’t have the sense to see beyond her nose-—AGAIN.

This woman should have been arrested years ago. She helped fuel the riots in LA after the police officers were acquitted by a jury, hence her nickname "Kerosene Maxine."
As a member of Congress, she accused the CIA of inventing crack cocaine in its science labs and spending millions of taxpayer dollars to supply it to blacks in America.
Her relatives had made millions off of corrupt deals she forged, and then absolved herself of any ties to corruption.
This is a real quote when she was confronted about it:
"They do their business and I do mine."
Her IQ is probably about 80, but that doesn't mean she isn't adept at lying and deception. Those are her good points.
