President Obama this afternoon joined the gang of Democrats and liberal groups alleging that the US Chamber of Commerce is using foreign funds to influence American elections.
Referring to a study by the liberal group ThinkProgress that – correctly – notes that the US Chamber of Commerce has some funding sources abroad, including foreign corporations and American Chambers of Commerce around the world (or “AmChams”), the President said, “just this week, we learned that one of the largest groups paying for these ads regularly takes in money from foreign corporations.”
The president then took this step, saying, “groups that receive foreign money are spending huge sums to influence American elections, and they won’t tell you where the money for their ads come from.”
Chamber officials say that money coming from foreign donors cannot be used for political activity under the 1907 Tillman Act, and that the charge is false.

The Chamber of Commerce cannot use foreiagn funds according to some act passed years ago. Oddly enough, Obummer received great amounts of foreign dollars for his campaign that supposedly he returned. Come now Obummer man up and face the music you are ass is toast. The bottom line Obummer is upset that the Supreme Court ruled against him on campaign donations against corporations, so he strived to belittle the Suprem Court at the Sate of the Union. Obummer payback time is coming soon and the former solicitor general will have to recuse herself from this case too.. kagan could give the tie breaker, but Kennedy will not leave the Sopreme Court until Obummer is gone. kagan and Sotomayor can be impeached.
This guy elevates buffoonery to previously unheard of heights.

Just heard on the local Chicago news that Obama was here this evening for a fundraiser and raised $750,000. Not bad for one evening’s work. Wonder who the donors were?
