Just can't make this stuff up. A few years ago talk like this would have seemed nuts, now the only things nuts about it is the nuts in EPA and the turkeys running the government.

Wagyu beef will be reserved for privileged members of the Inner Party, while the rest of us will make do with Soylent Green.

From where I sit, (the Obama administration) appears to be aimed at destroying the cattle industry in America as we know it, Tamara Thies, the chief environmental counsel at the National Cattlemens Beef Association, said on Capitol Hill last week. What ISN'T Obama trying to destroy these days?

We may not have two years to get rid of this clown, i.e. the situation may in fact be more desparate than that.

What ISN'T Obama trying to destroy these days? Excellent question! I believe he's trying to destroy most everything.

It is unlikely these realities are lost on the EPA, making one wonder if the real goal of the agency is to do away altogether with economic activity throughout the bread basket of this country and turn it into a vast national park, she added.
She nails it here. Stopping, or slowing down, the EPA and many other agencies is going to be difficult. Hope the Republican majority can do something about it.

The first thing that the majority republican congress will need to do is completely de-fund the epa. Not a single penny for rent, utilities, or salaries.
It will be difficult for them to issue rulings if they don’t have a room in which to meet.

I personally think that an EPA in some form is necessary. But I’m becoming less and less convinced the THE EPA can be saved. A complete defunding and reboot of the EPA to their mid-1970’s mission is the only thing that will work - and previous employees need not apply.

The Brazilian deepwater petroleum extraction industry, for one example. Banning such an enterprise by U. S. oil drillers in the Gulf while subsidizing Brazil’s similar work is one way of diminishing America’s wealth while enhancing that of other nations.
