For the second time in as many weeks, President Barack Obama returns Thursday to a favorite setting — a big rally on a college campus.
But Bowie State University, where the president will appear, is a far different setting than the University of Wisconsin, where a get-out-the-vote rally last week drew 26,000 supporters.
The historically black Maryland college is much smaller, and officials expect around 5,000 people to attend the rally. The event will take place in the heart of Prince George’s County — a relatively affluent, predominantly African-American community. And Obama, whose approval rating among black voters is a rock-solid 91 percent, will try to transfer some of his popularity to a white candidate, Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley.
In 2008, spurred by the excitement of supporting Obama, 190,000 more African-Americans voted in Maryland than in 2004, but pollsters this year cite an “enthusiasm gap” between the Republicans and Democrats, including African-Americans. Replicating the excitement of Obama’s presidential run in places like Prince George’s County, however, could make the difference for O’Malley, who in 2006 defeated then-Gov. Robert Ehrlich by fewer than 150,000 votes — and who is locked in a tight battle with Ehrlich in a rematch.

Why do they think Obama is a “brother”? He shares none of the cultural heritage of slavery or discrimination, nor the daily sting of growing up in the urban ghetto. He wears black like a necktie, an affectation his profession and ambition require.

The Dems and MSM will do their best to scare/agitate their 90 percenters (leftists; black-skinned Americans that are currently chained to the Democrat plantation; union members; etc) to show up and vote; and they'll do their best to discourage conservative voters from showing up to vote.
LOL! When you already have 95% market share spending time and money going after the remaining five percent is a stupid waste of resources. Therefore, I heartily endorse the president’s brilliant strategy.
