CLAYTON, N.C. A 14-year-old girl is getting help from the American Civil Liberties Union to sue her school over her facial piercing.

Iacono joined the Church of Body Modification this summer. She's now one of 20 members in the state and 3,500 nationwide.

Public schools can have dress codes and that includes peircings. Just like a workplace.
The ACLU is run by commie retards.
THAT explains the bolt in the Frankenstein monster's neck!
No better way for a 14 yr old schoolgirl to attract an adolescent schoolboy than with a shiny new tongue piercing/stud.
She doesn’t have to attend that school. She has every right to transfer to a public or private school that will cater to her or she can homeschool.
If she doesn't want to obey the school dress code, then she should either find another school, or just plainly quit school. It's obvious education is not on her mind.

When my niece first started gauging her earlobes, I told her she should go to medical school. I explained that she would be able to make a ton of money someday as a cosmetic surgeon when people her age grow up and realize that gaping holes in the nose and ears don’t go over well in the professional world.
Unfortunately, she didn’t listen. :-(
