Because Hawaii refused to certify Barack Obama as Constitutionally eligible for POTUS. That is why Nancy Pelosi had to certify him FOR Hawaii. That was both illegal and unconstitutional. The STATE is the only entity that can produce a certificate qualifying eligibility. It’s a specific requirement of the constitution.
Axelrod is just trying to keep the mocking smokescreen up. They have to keep all that marginalized and ridiculed. Because if it is taken seriously by everyone, and the poo hits the fan, Obama is toast and A-rod knows it.
Obama isn’t a Natural Born Citizen. What ever is in his birth records proves it.
An interesting thought to consider, Nancy Pelosi is really pissed off at Barry for throwing her and a whole bunch of democrats under the bus on Health Care. Cost her her power base, and her speakers chair. She knows she signed an illegal document. Immunity from the senate for testimony and resurances from Hillary of a position in her new Administration might well fry Obama.

Ohhh, I will! I have been re-reading my three day fight and here is one thing that bothers them. When they talk about all their evidence, here is where I finally tripped them up. Ask them how much of THEIR STUFF is admissible in court.
Would you believe NONE!!! If they ever go to court they will have to produce a bumpy Birth Certificate just like what I am asking for.
Oh it makes them mad when you ask them:

It could also have been edited physically, by cutting or folding the line out of view in the original printed document.
Or someone could have been reading an older physical document a line at a time as they composed the new version on a computer. Since the document may have been prepared in a hurry on August 27th, 2008, it could just be a screwup and this would also explain dropping the word "by".
But the location of the "error" combined with questions about the candidate make it very suspicious that there is more to it. Even it it was just an error, it was potentially embarrassing for the Democratic Party and the Obama campaign that Obama had not been properly certified by Hawaii of all places and something that they would want to cover up, gloss over, or avoid drawing attention to.
Blame everyone but themselves. The Leftist playbook. The great thing is that Axelrod is bankrupt for ideas.
