I am told by a reliable source that the DCCC has canceled one weeks worth of ad purchases aimed at Texass 17th congressional district.
Good night, Chet, as in Chet Edwards.

They should. I hope they waste they’re money instead.
I just found your good news post. This would match up with local “talk” that says Chet’s internal polling tells them they need to be very worried. His ads smack of desperation. They are extremely negative and misleading. He offers no solutions to problems. He’s running on the fact that years ago he helped save the Waco VA and is trying to scare veterans. He doesn’t have any current achievements to tout.
I just saw this article on another forum! Great news indeed! Have you seen the McCain ads for Flores? Was just aired on KWTX as I type....
No, haven’t seen it but my tv has been off. I’ll be sure to watch for it. McCain???? Haha.
Oh my, did you read the comments?
Chet has been busy writing anti-Flores comments! : ) I’m not a McCain fan, but he (Flores) was trying to point out that he is for the Vets.
DMN reporting RCCC is canceling ad buys. I can’t believe they’d bail on a winnable seat, so I’m assuming Flores is way ahead.
The districts were redrawn in Texas after the 2000 census. Edwards orginally had Ft. Hood in his mix but that was taken out. He would bring lots of bennies to the District via the Army base but that is now gone for him. He has won the last couple of times running as a conservative democrat and with incumbency which helps. With luck he will be retired this time around.
I am surprised he didn’t do like most have and switched parties to save his skin.
