We always knew Darren Murph had oodles of talent and was extremely prolific -- but now the man has got the paper to seriously prove it. Our own Mr. Murph was just awarded the Guinness World Record for most posts ever by a blogger. Not only is this a first for Darren, it's a first for Guinness as well, creating a new category for the group. Darren joined Engadget in July of 2006 (his first post is here), and almost four years to the day (when these numbers were submitted to Guinness) he'd arrived at 17,212 individual posts (since surpassed, of course). That's single posts on Engadget, Engadget HD, and Engadget Mobile, not duplicated work. We obviously couldn't be more proud of Darren and the work he's done (and continues to do) here, and we think this is an amazing feat for one writer.

I'm sure there are plenty here who have far surpassed Mr. Murph. Post your totals (Should be at the top of the page here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/my/).
i’ve posted 23 threads and 34,737 replies. OK, so I’d prefer to make wiseass comments vs receiving them.
He be a piker:
“You’ve posted a total of 1,874 threads and 29,451 replies.”
They were all garbage.
I think someone with a much larger number than Mr. Murph (like yourself) should apply to the Guinness Book people for the record.
I wonder how many “post” Jerry Pournelle has? His is the oldest “blog”.
F’n slacker.. ;-]

I should pass him in another two weeks easily.
Awesome, especially the ratio!
You’ve posted a total of 46 threads and 5,673 replies.
I would have guess more threads...
2,153 threads and 21,067 replies
Plus this one.
I’ve tried to quit but only manage to cut back for a while.
Just 220 threads and 14,398 replies.
I’m pacing myself.
I tend to keep my mouth shut unless I have something worthwhile to contribute.
Holy Cow! No wonder your name is so familiar.
I wonder if they included Jerry Pournelle, the guy who invented the “weblog” before there WAS an “internet” (he started his “daybook”, which “was” a “blog” in the BIX network). It’s still going strong:

You need to get out more :o)

Yeah, but...FR isn’t a Blog. Or so I hear when the subject comes up.
You've posted a total of 9,306 threads and 10,520 replies.
I wonder if they considered those who have been using .plan files with Finger since the 70s. Many were later connected to the WWW, instantly turning them into blogs.
