I wonder if they included Jerry Pournelle, the guy who invented the “weblog” before there WAS an “internet” (he started his “daybook”, which “was” a “blog” in the BIX network). It’s still going strong:

I wonder if they considered those who have been using .plan files with Finger since the 70s. Many were later connected to the WWW, instantly turning them into blogs.
