This post is inspired by the tragic death of an 18 year old Rutgers University student, who committed suicide after his room mate secretly filmed him having sex with another man. Apparently, the student was so humiliated, that he felt he could not go on living. It is not known if the young man's family was aware of his sexual behavior. I do not support the liberal gay agenda. But heterosexual men need to start talking openly about difficult issues, which they never talk about with other men. There is no denying that heterosexual men are more insecure about their sexual orientation, than heterosexual women. If women notice that a certain woman happens to be beautiful, they have no problem talking about that woman's beauty. When women notice the beauty of other women, they talk about it openly, without having any concerns that someone will question their sexual orientation.
Men are of course open in admiring the beauty of women. But when a man notices that another man is very good-looking, he will not mention it openly, out of fear that other men will question his sexual orientation. It is hard for some men to openly state that a few men are better looking than many women, even if there is no sexual attraction involved.
That male macho culture, may have contributed to the climate that led the young man to take his own life. I think it is possible for heterosexual men to get in touch with their feminine side, without endorsing the liberal gay agenda.
There is no guarantee that the young man from Rutgers University would have remained gay for the rest of his life, if he had lived. In Britain, Oscar Wilde's teenage boyfriend, Alfred Douglas, married a woman later in life, and became a pro-family conservative Catholic in the 1920s. One of Britain's brightest pro-family conservative politicians in the early 1990s, Michael Portillo, was revealed to have had a gay relationship in college. In the 1990s, Portillo was the British Defence Secretary and was happily married to a woman, and he was in line to succeed John Major as Prime Minister. But gay militants in Britain used the revelations of his college sex life, to destroy his career.
When you live long enough you realize there are all sorts of crazy people who do things for crazy reasons.
For example there are many people who shoplift because they *want* to get caught.
In the inner city culture they call it “Keepin’ it on the Down Low”.
I think most men can perform the activity of homosexual sex if they haven’t had regular sex because men are wired to want and crave sex more so than women.

It's a vanity, with some incorrect assumptions, but the discussion is interesting. The mythology about the homosexual student at Rutgers who committed suicide is now accepted fact. Please read DJMacWoW's comment #30. Clementi had already "outed" himself.
Regarding sexual "orientation", the real question should be "Can homosexuals become normal?" and the answer is - "In many cases, yes!".
I can't tell at all if a man is ‘attractive’ and have never had a thought of touching a man. So I'm going to say NO.
Beyond the quality of his clothes, his cleanliness and size of his muscles, I have no ability to rate the ‘the competition’. I see myself the same way and have very little concept of how I look.

I don’t notice attractive men because I honestly wouldn’t know what makes a guy attractive. I can tell when a guy is in shape enough to handle himself. I can tell when a guy is a baby-faced pretty boy or a more rugged-looking fella. I couldn’t tell you whether any one of them was particularly attractive to women, though.
I honestly don’t know why, aside from the Godly miracle of female biology, women are physically attracted to men. It makes no sense whatsoever. Women are soft, smooth, curvy in all the right places. I get why we’re attracted to them, and women get why we’re attracted to them. Why women are attracted to men is a puzzle.
Women notice female beauty not because of some overarching comfort with their sexual orientation, but because female beauty standards is much easier to zero on. Women are built for form ... men are built for function. Women are aesthetically pleasing. Skin, hair, boobs, backside — Elisha Cuthbert is pretty, Helen Thomas is a troll. Easy enough. Men are an aesthetic trainwreck.

Did you see Kiss of the Spider Woman? That’s a pretty good portrayal of how it could happen, with a couple of great actors. Actually, having a same sex affair in prison is far from the worst thing that could happen. Violent, repeated, anal gang rape would be worse.

In terms of this issue . . . Prisons have lots of temporary homosexuals. HOWEVER, That’s a pretty skewed population to begin with—95% with severe ATTACHMENT DISORDER.
I don’t think properly reared sons with healthy gestation and loving, lavishly affectionate fathers are likely to become homosexuals regardless.

Yeah, he was a real swaggering macho man and violating the macho code left him no choice.
It’s called “denial” and this poor guy was deep in it, until his cover was blown and denial became impossible. Everybody at some time in their life does something that they would not do if they thought anyone would find out ESPECIALLY in those young years.
