Nobody gave a damn about the Roma (gypsies) during WW2 and they suffered greatly in their own Holocaust in the concentration camps. The same for homosexuals.
Nobody cared about the Poles when they rose up against the Nazis in 1944, or the Hungarians in 1956.
The old saying “No man is an island” has historically been wrong. Cambodia died because no one cared, esp. the Democrats in Congress and the so-called “anti-war movement”.

America and Israel are the two remaining democracies that are the guardians of humanity (England is up for debate but its Moslem immigrants cannot be counted on to be westernized). India is another democracy that has so many internal and external problems and enemies that it is almost impotent in world affairs. Red China could overrun them in an hour. Pakistan could nuke them, and the communist maoist Naxalities are running a good part of West Bengal State. How do you say “hamstrung” in Indian?

Yes but ... that is the type of prediction of blind faith which was used to whip up the Jewish revolts against the Romans. It ended with defeat, exile and the destruction of the Temple. It turned out that the aggressive pagans were allowed to triumph.
