An 82-year-old Broadway producer and her 91-year-old husband were kicked off the Queen Mary 2 after getting into a heated argument with a fellow passenger at a black-tie dinner, according to a report in the New York Post.
Gloria Sher and Frederick Evans reportedly got into a shouting match with a dining companion who, the couple claims, made an anti-Semitic remark.
Sher said a fellow cruiser told her to shut up, and said, "There are too many Jews on board," the Post reported.
Sher, who is Jewish, told the paper that she became angry, saying, "F**k you!" and "How dare you insult me!"

Or maybe the cruise line has rules against people screaming the "F" word during a black tie dinner?
WOW!
I need to get out more! LOL...
People with Dementia say the F-Word quite often...
Christians endure these kind of bigot insults as a way of life in the US now. If I f-worded everyone who insulted and harassed Christians, that is all I would do in life.
The lady was a Broadway producer. F-bombs probably roll off her tongue all the time.
I'm glad they kicked her off. Even if the target of her F-bomb laden rage really said what he did; why is she any less offensive for letting loose a string of obscenities? She was offended by his language and there doubtless others who found her just as offensive. If you are going to play the "offended by remarks" card, be prepared to be trumped by somebody else.
But they don’t have rules against telling another person that there are too many Jews on board. I’m not sure that isn’t more offensive.
Why punish the fish? What have the Stingrays, Sharks and other fish done wrong?
I wonder if they also kicked the person who said there were too many Jews on board off also?
I find the F word a lot less offensive than that.
Ship of Fools.
I was at a place Saturday where they were giving a Kenny-G concert, the entire place was *Asian* with a few scattered other races as in caucasion or hispanic but very few....
Most of the Asians were speaking *Chinese* and one of the workers said *Yes* there are alot of Chinese here, and they bought up all the 5,000.00 tickets that included dinner front row table sitting free Champagne..
Nobody IMO was being racial, we just realize all the Chinese now have the money, and can do all the things Americans can no longer afford to do...
Sher and Evans were partly to blame, one passenger told the Post, saying Sher sometimes gets belligerent when drinking
I find the F word a lot less offensive than that.
I hope they kicked him off. Both people were offensive. Someone across the room could have been offended by the producer lady's outburst without knowing what the other guy even said.
lets see...I dressed hair in a nursing home for 17 years and loved every day...now retired and I miss those days...some were difficult but I always stopped and said ‘ someday I too will become aged’ and darn that day has arrived, and I now ask my two adult kids to have patience with me for...some day they too will age...
and that is why I want all the OLD fools in Congress voted OUT...lol
HAHA..Well I know what you mean..I volunteered at a Nursing Home and some of the old folks were lovely, some were crotchedy and cranky, but they were all wonderful with stories I could listen to for hours.....
We live in a Generation where only the young have merit and the old are thrown and tossed away...
The young are the most un-interesting self indulged, lazy group I ever have witnessed....My mom is 78 and my dad died and I miss my grandparents, thier honesty, wisdom and love.
“the entire place was *Asian* with a few scattered other races as in caucasion...”
I guess CaucAsian is kinda Asian too... :)
These two would have fit right in on a Carnival cruise.
If the comment was made quietly, there might not have been any witnesses. In fact, the comment might not have been made at all.
Absent something much worse than I have read about, I think it was quite wrong for Cunard to evict their paying passengers without first warning them at least once to tone down their behavior. No one’s life or safety was in danger to require such a drastic measure.
After reading this article I will not sail on Cunard.
And by the way, there are too many Californians on this website ... just joking! I love you folks from the Golden State.
LOL..
Yes it is....
“How dare you insult me”... pretty much says it all. Your basic ‘tude problem.
I must say I kind of like the “treated with APPROPRIATE respect line.
