Personal responsibility is demonstrated in many ways. Picking up ones trash after an event is a demonstrated characteristic of personal responsibility. On Saturday the Socialists marched on Washington to demonstrate their support for Barack Obama and the current Socialist controlled Congress. Thousands of people gathered at the Lincoln Memorial for a march to call for One Nation Working Together that featured civil rights leaders, labor leaders, environmental and peace activists, faith leaders and celebrities with the intent of voicing concerns on jobs, for justice, immigration reform and for education for all.
When they departed, they left the Mall covered with garbage.
Good Sense Politics has comparison photographs of the Obama Inauguration and the September 12, 2009, TEA Party in Washington, DC. The Obama Inauguration was attended by 1.8 million people who left behind 100 tons of trash. The TEA Party was attended by more than a million people who left the ground cleaner than before the TEA Party began. This has been true of TEA Parties and other Conservative gatherings across our nation.
How people handle their trash tells much about how people view their obligations to society and to others. One group leaves trash behind and appears to care nothing for those who follow. The other group seeks to leave what they found in better condition for those who will follow.
What does each of these political groups leave behind when they are in charge of spending money and passing laws? Our National Debt and a bloated government bureaucracy are trash that our current Administration is accumulating and willfully dumping on future generations.
It is time to clean the accumulated political trash from Washington and our state capitals.
LOVE IT!!
Have you posted that on DU (with a note of concern of course ;-) ).
Disgusting pigs
It's been worse.....
A look back at how much trash was left by the conservatives 8/28 rally? Zero

I saw one very poignant picture of flags simply discarded on the ground by these creatures.

The Glenn Beck show Monday is going to be a joy to watch.
This Saturday? They trashed a U.S. flag?
You sure Beck will have much to talk about?

‘Morning to you, too.
I can’t take credit for that gif though, I found it here:

You just touched the nerve that made my eye twitch. How much did we (the taxpayers)pay for this? I hate having to support the opposition.
I would advise anyone that does clean up that they wear protective gear to clean up the pigs mess..If the truth was know they probably went on the streets and found some homeless people and put a union tea shirt on them put them on a bus headed them to Washington..
I knew it was coming. Human nature responds to promises of something for nothing. The socialists, or “Progressives” have been around forever.
I just thought they wouldn’t become so emboldened in my lifetime.
There is an esy way to solve the trash problem.
Make the ones getting the permit to post a security bond to pay for the cleanup.
Actually, I think that this is included in the fees that the Park Service charges for these kind of events.
Of course, that makes me wonder if there was a refund to the 09/12/09 and 08/28/10 events? Hmmm?
Bump to the top!
