You’re vividly imagining I said that her helping the RNC makes her a RINO.

Rather, her support for LOST makes her clueless. Her support for “registration” and “a pathway to citizenship” schemes makes her an amnesty queen. Her support for windfall profits taxes on oil companies makes her a populist. Her support for TARP makes her a GOP toadie. Her support for “doing something” about “real” global warming makes her a gullible beyond repair. Her support for McCain makes her unreliable. And her “common sense conservative” mantra reminds me of exactly of “compassionate conservative”.

She’s all yours, EEE, all yours.

What proof do you have of that?
I saw Michael Steal on Fox News last night saying that the RNC is going to be doing some fundraisers with Christine O’Donnell.

What he failed to mention is it’s Christine who will be raising money for the RNC, not the other way around. The same thing is happening with Palin.

The RNC has actively tried to destroy the Tea Parties, and now our victors are helping to prop up the RNC. Instead of striking the deathblow, Palin and O’DOnnell are sparing the beast to fight them another day. It is stupid.

The RNC is playing nice because they see the fundraising potential of the likes of Palin and O’Donnell. But these RINOs will use the success these gals are generating for them to claim victory, and they’ll stay in their positions because of it, and we’ll have to fight the RNC all over again as they try to pick winners and losers in the 2012 GOP primaries.

I say SLAY THE BEAST NOW. Destroy Michael Steal and John Cornyn. Make them painfully irrelevant, gut the RINO establsihment, hollow out the RNC and NRSC, and then fill them with victorious Tea Party Patriots next year.

She can’t win on a presidential ticket...

Obama would beat Palin? ¿

LOL!!

A majority of Americans disagree with Obama's positions while a majority of Americans agree with Palin's.

“This is her introduction to replace Steele soetime before January.”

I’ve heard people say that before. Mostly it seems to be an attempt at marginalizing Palin.

Chairman of the RNC is a dead end job for tired old party hacks.

Palin does not qualify, she is not tired, old, or a party hach.

Now Romney may work out pretty good as RNC Chair......

Her support for TARP makes her a GOP toadie.

What does Duncan Hunter's vote for the auto bailout, the Freddie and Fannie bailout, the perceription drug benefit, No Child Left behind and his membership in CFR make him?

Republicans need independents to win.

Independents are band-wagoners, not decision-makers. Once they see the conservative base fired up for Palin, they're going to catch the wave and join the movement.

This is how Obama won, BTW. He sure as Hell didn't get conservatives' votes.

I don’t know if 0bama would beat Palin.
But she would certainly make it too close for comfort.
Palin is the only candidate who would give 0bama a fighting chance.
The only one.

Think about that, and ask yourself if Palin is really so far above anyone else who could run that it is worth risking another 4 years of 0bama just for the chance of getting Palin and Palin alone in office.

Is Palin really going to do something that thatJim DeMint, Mike Pence, Chris Christie, or many other solid conservatives can’t or won’t?

Is it worth it to risk it all just to promote your favorite personality?

That's not true. The entire conservative intelligensia was on his bandwagon, and they brought plenty of conservatives along with them.
Peggy Noonan declared it would be a new Era of Good Feelings.

Post #60 - these are your opinions shaped by the negative MSM coverage about Palin. You've accepted the meme that she's dumb and unqualified.

That's too bad.

“This is her introduction to replace Steele soetime before January.”
I’ve heard people say that before. Mostly it seems to be an attempt at marginalizing Palin.
It isn't marginalizing her.
It is simply being honest about her strengths and weaknesses, and where she could best put her talents to work to do the most good.

RNC Chairman needn't be a dead end job.
If anything, Vice President is a dead end job, and Palin gladly accepted when McCain offered it.

Palin can leverage any position into an opportunity, if she has the ability.

“Republicans need independents to win.
Independents do not like Palin.

The country is split 3 ways at 33/33/33 R/D/I now.”

We are 2 years out from the 2012 elections. Plenty of time to maneuver and conquer various factions of the political landscape.

Ever hear of sew up the Republican base, then win over the middle.

I think RR did pretty well using that tactic.....so will Palin. Tell me again in August ~ Oct 2012......

I just call ‘em as I see ‘em.
Palin was supposed to be a game changer for McCain.
They were wiped out badly by 0bama.

I saw Palin’s debate. I saw her interviews.
I was not impressed with either, and neither was most of America.
She bombed, and McCain’s fortunes tanked with her.

I'm glad she's appearing with Steele! It will certainly blunt the RINOs in their attempts to belittle her. Not that they'll stop, they'll just have to do it as 'anonymous Republican sources'. This gives her entree into gatherings to which she might not have otherwise been invited, thus broadening her appeal.

I have no concerns about her principles being compromised. She's a strong lady.

The entire conservative intelligensia was on his bandwagon, and they brought plenty of conservatives along with them.

C'mon CP. You're confusing the beltway conservatives with the heartland conservatives. You really think they persuaded regular conservatives to vote for Obama? LOL. No conservative voted for Obama because they could smell him a mile away. Obama won mostly on the strength of independents who were taken in by the Hope and Change crap, and they saw how liberals were enthusiastic over him and they joined the movement.

If you can't fire up your base, you're not going to win. Only Palin can fire up the conservative base.

You are right.
We are 2 years from the presidential election.
So everybody take a deep breath, and wait to see who runs, what they run on, and how they perform in the debates and on the trail before we go coronation anyone.

Remember when the Clintonistas tried to crown Queen Hillary 2 years before the primaries?
How did that work out for them?

Chairman of the RNC is a dead end job for tired old party hacks.

So Haley Barbour was a washed up party hack in 1993?

In 1993, Barbour became chairman of the Republican National Committee. In 1994, during his tenure as RNC chair, Republicans captured both houses of the United States Congress, taking the House of Representatives for the first time in forty years. In 1997, Barbour retired from his position as Chairman of the RNC.

Now we’re talking. Get the RNC in line Sarah!!!

That's what's happening. Steele came out for O'Donnell the night of the DE primary, while the rest of the RINOs hung back for several days.
