Wow - Greta really let her have it! That witch Allred is the worst kind of opportunist, and Greta made sure she knew it.

Greta’s husband was a Dem and a Hillary supporter but they switched.

They were Scientologists but quit....I think Greta is anti-abortion.

She is also anti-liar. Alred is over her proverbial head. She is used to bullshit and got real response.

To tell you the truth, he might have said “illegal immigrant.” Either way, illegal is the operative word.

I thought it would be a toss-up for me, as I love Rush, but I identify with Larry a little better. Plus, Larry doesn't have the habit of going off on tangents, like pretty much every other host I can think of. The clincher ... well, two clinchers ... that have me opting for Larry over Rush:

1. He's So Cal local, grew up here, and very much into local and state politics. He's a reason to love So Cal, and I dearly love So Cal. It's an acquired taste, but I have fallen in love with Los Angeles & the whole region.

2. Connected to the first -- Larry's callers, regular local working folks like me, of all incomes, accents, colors, just trying to enjoy life and do right. The one kind of caller missing, and it's okay by me: elites. Absent. Listening to Larry's callers is tells me that it's better out there than I might be tempted to think if I didn't know they were there. It's uniting. It's a great. And I guess because I'm such a sexist, I love the fact that most of them are men, unusual in conservative radio talk show calls.

The only other So Cal host I like as much as Elder, and whose callers are always fun to hear, is Tim Conway Jr., though Tim is NO political brain like Larry. But Tim is just plain fun and refreshing.

... we cannot be sure she will be any better than Ahnold or even Brown.

Well, I'm sure. She'll be just as bad in her way, and a little worse than Brown in that she'll degrade the Republican party image as being the alternative to big government. Ultimately, Whitman will foster a lot of cynicism in disillusioned voters with regard to how they view what the Republican party stands for. I'm sure of that! ;^)

You seem to believe all Hispanics are completely devoted to each other whether they are in the country illegally or not. Sure the same 20-25% of hand wringing bed wetters will come out for the illegal alien but the vast majority of people who see this can easily see the manipulation and politics behind what Alred has done here.

Once again the Left has sacrificed one of the people they claim to care so much about in order to attempt to score political points. You do not need a masters degree to see what is going on here and in the context of what this administration has done to Americans over the past 2 years there will be increasing anger over being “played” again.

It was not necessary for Alred to “budge an inch” to get skewered. She had no answer to the questions that were asked and the points made by GS.

When Alred was unable to counter a legitimate charge by GS and instead changed the subject and resorted to the typical lib attack when faced with that sort of thing, she lost and lost badly.

Alred will score only with the same 20% of the population who are terminal hand wringing bed wetters.

Don’t know why you concluded any type of devotion in my post...unless that the Democrates have and will always use the Hispanics and Blacks for political purposes...and keep them thinking they are victims...they have done so for years and could caare less about their station in life.

Of course it’s political manipulation, Allred is their point man in this..Niki is being used..but both will stand to gain monetarily for the “limelight”. Politics is Hollywood showtime in this as well.

Its 2:30am here in Alaska on a saturday and I am about to get ready for work and had FOX turned on, and yes indeed Greta is on fire!

I hope when Sarah Palin becomes POTUS she looks into a possibility of getting Greta a position somewhere. Greta would be a definite asset, she is like a pit bull, she just won’t let go.

I understand your cynicism, but, in Greta’s case, I think the conversion is genuine. I still detect some lib thinking on her part regarding social issues, but I think she really does now understand the threats we face to our way of life and the perilous state of our national security. She has come a long way.

However, as a journalist in CA during Brown's run, while I may have taken issue with him on a host of things, I always found him engaging, honest and almost without guile in the interviews I did with him (and I did many).

Jerry Brown..... I think the same about him. Vote for him up or down but he is not sleazy, is not shading the truth as he sees it. In fact I liked him when he was running against Bill Clinton in 1992 Democrat primaries. In 1992 I worked for Pat Buchanan and ultimately voted for Perot who I also worked for. What a crazy year and we have an unconventional year this time too. Just ramped up a few notches because the economy is structurally worse
