Moonbeam’s obvious stunt today against Whitman hasn’t won him any votes from what I hear.

cnn doesn't count... Boxer is in the lead probably... crazy.

She has a name that is appealing to the ignorant jackass masses... Boxer... as a fighter.... that is the only reason I can think of why she is ahead.

If the races really are only one point apart, then we are doomed. Democrats cheat like dogs.

Boxer again? California really is “stuck on stupid”.

I don’t see Governor Moonbeam making a comeback. Now Barbara Boxer’s comeback in the polls is cause for concern.

I think this question/answer says a lot:

8. In general, would you say you are satisfied or not satisfied with your choices of candidates
in the election for governor on November 2nd?
45% satisfied
49 not satisfied
6 don’t know

They do not call it the “land of nuts and fruits” for nothing.

Now Barbara Boxer’s comeback in the polls is cause for concern.

However, 42% for an incumbent at this stage of the race amounts to very thin ice.

All those undecideds out there know who and what she is -- and they're not buying it just yet.

I’ve got a lot of room to talk. We’re sending McCain back! LOL!!! Well, I did what I could. It didn’t work out. McCain had too much money for us little people to stop him.

Yes and no, our demographics have shifted so much (almost a Mexican majority here now) that anything other than an out right socialist won’t be elected. Personally I hope Brown wins because that way when Kalifornia goes down in flames they won’t have anybody else to blame (although I’m sure they’ll try). Meg Whitman is a RINO just like our current girly-man of a governor so even if she is elected I don’t see her doing much more than slowing things down slightly. We have a year or two left before we hit the wall, then we’ll see if the feds bail us out or let us sink.

Oh and once Kali runs out of money for all the anchor babies they’ll be moving to a location near you, rinse and repeat. What fun.

Don’t believe these polls. Fiorina is probably a couple of points back because Boxer has been filling the airwaves with hit ads. The question in the end to CA voters is, “Do you want more of the same or not?” We’ve had 8 years of Jerry Brown at a time when his gray cells were in better shape and that was a disaster. Fiorina needs to spend more money and talk about the Obama-Boxer agenda on health care and higher taxes. Both of these ladies can win if they stay on message.

If I were doing hit ads for Fiorina, I’d show all the hospitals in CA that have closed because they were driven into bankruptcy, and emphasize that with Obamacare, that will be just a drop in the bucket.

More "electable moderates" get a tepid response from voters. I'm shocked, I tell you, shocked? Not to mention Poll Finds Many Illinois Voters Unhappy With Choice of Senate Candidates All those "moderate independents" agree with the "hard-right teabaggers" that the RINO & Demonrat choices suck. Imagine that.

Speaking of which, several of those "unelectable" tea party candidates are doing quite well against entrenched Democrats, including conservative nominees for Governor in the "deep blue states" of Illinois and Maine.

No doubt a fluke, of course. We all know Dem-lite candidates are sooooooooo much more "electable".

“California really is “stuck on stupid”

Taken as an electoral whole, you’re quite right. There isn’t a rational reason in the entire universe to vote for Boxer. Well, OK, maybe she isn’t as stupid as Maxine Waters, but I don’t think of that as much of a qualification.

Bumping your post. Good analysis of what is happening. The ladies need to stay on message and make it all about defeating the Obama dimwit agenda.
