I am sure they would be happy to “back” each other all night long.
I wonder if Stewart will hang around to shovel the feces they leave behind?
Communism is “sanity”? Since when? I didn’t know they changed it!
“Need we say more?”
Nope. I might just go, though. Kind of like a trip to the zoo ... but it would be just like the monkey house, all the trash and feces thrown around, the stench is a pretty tough thing to take, even to laugh at the antics.
“Courtesy”? From the “Girls Gone Wild” crowd? ROTFL!!! You better think again Skippy!
FROM THE ARTICLE:
“After Stewart’s announcement, Stewart’s alter-ego Stephen Colbert, another comedian, used his own TV show on Comedy Central to invite Americans to attend another rally, which he dubbed the “March to Keep Fear Alive.”
Billed as an event to counter Stewart’s call for a return to reason in America, that march will take place simultaneously on the National Mall on October 30.”
I wonder who they’ll mock during this “event”? For the life of me, I haven’t a clue. (using sarcastic tone)
After spending his formative years attending a long series of shrill, Marxist demonstrations promoting the destruction of civility and the economic structure of the country Barry is now lecturing Americans not to disagree with him in any manner under the rubric that not following his orders would be uncivil.
‘US President Barack Obama praised a comedian Wednesday for organizing a “Rally to Restore Sanity,” saying it may help instill more “courtesy” in American political life.’
Right. Getting in their faces and punching back twice as hard.
This, coming from the guy who told his supporters to "get in their faces" anyone who opposed his takeover of the health care system.
Barkey just lost his last possible thread of sensibility.
‘This, coming from the guy who told his supporters to “get in their faces” anyone who opposed his takeover of the health care system.’
Well, it is only teabaggers.
Be sure to bring your camcorder. The “love”, “tolerance”, “class”, and, “courtesy” will be most entertaining, I’m sure.
FUBO!
BTW, all the vitriol in modern day American politics can be traced back to the Democrats/Liberals.
Go O
courtesy and civility in our public life died when Ted Kennedy went nuclear on Robert Bork
actually, it had been dead a very long time with the way in which the ‘Rats talked about, treated, and talked down to all conservatives..... including Ronald Reagan, as I remember well
but when Teddy the Swimmer destroyed all traditions of civility in the US Senate about treating SCOTUS nominations as a serious and honorable business, things went much further downhill from there
Sound like the perfect time for their ‘mocking nonsense’.
Didn’t they do one of these back in Nuremberg ?
I assure you that the costume stores are going to make a killing on Palin, O’Donnell, Bachmann, Angle, Brewer, and -you name any other conservative- costume.
I’m sure we’ll see a lot of “courtesy”.
This entire farce is a mockery of Conservatives and America.
You have to stop and think about the gambit that Obama’s playing into here.
Clearly his regime has soured even some of his most ardent supporters; the staged backyard barbecues have been a disaster and his arm-crossed hectoring has not played well at all.
So for him to toss his hat into this debacle which can only serve to offend the Tea Party types (highly motivated to shut him down) one wonders: what’s his end game, what’s his strategy here?
When this rally happens and you see the big tent left-wing kooks assembled— will it endear or horrify middle America?
Will the caustic signs of the Socialist Workers Party and the over-the-top antics of the Citizens-for-Naked-Sodomy alongside the pro-abortionists really help Obama (or more to the point, this country)? Think for a moment of the insults that they’re going to heap on Palin, O’Donnell, Bush, the Tea Party... the taxpayers. This... is going to help their cause?
The answer is a resounding NO, but like the saying goes, when your enemies are destroying each other, the best thing to do is stand aside and let them do it
