My humanity is safe and secure.

If I start weeping over any and all sad pathetic losers who end it all because they were caught doing perverse things with another man, then I place a cheap and disgusting value on the goodness of humanity.

You feel differently? Fine. Go hold some candle-light vigil for the little homo.

You're arguing like a Liberal.

Raise taxes on the rich? Sure! Do it for the children!
Regulate businesses into oblivion? Sure! Do it for the spotted owl!

Point out that homosexuality is a bad way to live your life? OH! FOR SHAME!! What about his family!??

This forum ought to be able to discuss the pros and cons of current news items without automatically falling back into some emotional response about his family or how another freeper lacks humanity. No one here is sending gleeful hatemail to his parents. We would never do that. But it should not be unacceptable to take a traditional view of homosexuality and say that it is wrong.

First, it wasn’t a kid, it was a young man.

Second, neither of us wants to see him dead.

Third, we won’t make excuses for his homosexual behavior and subsequent stupid decision to kill himself.

Humanity? Bwahahahaha!
