Frantzie the world is going to end! I agree with you! ;-)
You said in post 414.... Yes he took his own life, but to deny the prank was the catalyst is mindboggling.

Let me correct you. The catalyst was Clementi’s devient perverse lifestyle, not the prank.
If that boggles your mind, then so be it. Seek spiritual guidance.
Not if I'd let her have 40% of the profits.
I said the school should have a policy of no sex in the dorms.
Ravi could have told him - no you cannot have the dorm to have sex in the room. I need to study or I need to go to sleep. Go out to a car, the library, hotel or whatever.
All three were immoral but Ravi and Molly’s actions were felonies.
Ravi could have just said NO. I am starting to think this kid may not have jumped off the bridge. I hope not.
And many of us know the suffering that comes with such egregrious immorality.
That’s not funny.
Yup. And I agreed with you!
If only homosexual sex was valued by society this could have been prevented?

I have followed this thread for hours since the first post. My observations and discomfort with your posts remain the same. I believe you honestly mean well in that you think you are standing up for virtue. I give you credit for diligence. I think your debate tactics and lack of compassion are counter-productive, however, and will repel non-Christians instead of attracting them by setting a loving and moral example.
I think he is one of the “Guilty/Not Guilty” posters from the pedophile teacher threads.
It’s par for that crowd.
I was just listening to the song “Drop Kick Me Jesus Through The Goal Posts of Life” on You Tube. Don’t know what made me think of that song.. LOL
Anderson Cooper?
Have you read lately what Jesus said to the Pharisees? They weren't words of love.
Um yeah. It would be. Thanks.
YES... --more useful idiots... All the country needs now is another homosexual martyr Matthew Shepard law put on the books...
YES its quite alright for leftists to "out" or smear conservatives that do NOT kill themselves --but for shame; a noble homosexual sex act be the cause of a suicide...
Oh the humanity...
/end sarcasm
I feel for all those affected BUT know exactly why the leftist media runs with this story and it ain't about compassion...
How am I not loving? I can only imagine the pain and heartbreak of the boy’s family, and the torment he went through. I came very close to suicide as a teenager and I know what the black despair feels like.
But that does not nullify the fact that all. three. did. wrong. And that people who do not do wrong, do not cause horrible situations that result in this kind of tragedy. Doesn’t mean that people who don’t engage in peeping tomism or illicit sex don’t suffer, but at least they do not bring this kind of stuff on themselves.
Standing up for virtue is love. Saying “there there, God loves you no matter what you do” isn’t love. Why? Because it keeps people in the darkness of sinful rebellion - engaging in acts that cause more and more suffering for themselves.
I’m not saying that God doesn’t love everyone - He does. But He wants us to turn from our selfish sinful life and take shelter of Him. People can change, and become happy and at peace, and leave such egregious sinful life behind.
If someone thinks that message is harsh, I didn’t invent that message, so don’t blame me.
It's interesting that you brought up the Pharisees, I have wanted to do that several times on this thread myself but kept refraining. Wasn't Jesus' unhappiness with the Pharisees due to their judging sinners out of pious self-righteousness and not out of mercy, love and humility?
I recall he also used a whip on the money changers and kicked over their tables.
You think Jesus would have condoned sexual immorality?
He condemned all sins, but gave the message of repentance and love. He never told anyone that they were okay as they were.
You don’t have to look far to see how the militant gay community is pushing this as a hate crime already.
But watch how fast they shut up when it’s discovered that Clementi was with some older fag who was simply going about the normal business of “recruiting” a young boy,
