NEW JERSEY (WPIX) A freshman at Rutgers University is believed to have committed suicide after he was secretly taped by two other students during a sexual encounter, police said. The video was allegedly broadcast on the internet.

I am not going to join the mouth foamed lynch mob here that seems to be angry that the room mate and his girlfriend have not been sentenced to a gulag because an outed gay decided to jump off a bridge instead of marching in rainbow parades.
For people accusing others of hate - and that even more loathsome crime of possible Christianity - the mourners of the decedent sure are a merciless, unforgiving, and violent lot.
There are no words...
No, not really. It's just that I'm even less fine with self-righteous prigs.
They're almost as bad as the people who presume to put words in other peoples' mouths.
What's weird is that we have one faction practically celebrating the death of a confused teenager and another faction calling for the head of the teenager who pulled a cruel prank.
No need to speculate. From the article:
“Roommate asked for the room till midnight,” he tweeted on Sept. 19. “I went into Molly’s room and turned on my webcam. I saw him making out with a dude. Yay.”
Suspected as much upon seeing Tyler’s pic (left sidebar in the article). Probably couldn’t face having family find out he was gay.
Looks like the spy camera crew may be going to jail (not that it is any consolation to Tyler’s family):
“Ravi was released on $25,000 bail Tuesday after surrendering to Rutgers police, while Wei was released on her own recognizance Monday after surrendering to authorities.
According to Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce Kaplan, it is a fourth-degree crime to collect or view images depicting nudity or sexual content of an individual without that person’s consent. The crime becomes a third-degree offense if the images are transmitted or distributed.”
What are you getting at? I already agreed it was.
And you have an inability to distinguish between serious and non-serious crimes.
That is one of the most misused Scriptures of all time . It happens to be about hypocrites and has nothing to do with this thread.
And you are behaving as if pointing out the consequence of sin is wrong. It's not. It is what we are to do.
Oh stop.
I called the two reprehensible reptiles.
They are. I certainly haven’t called for their heads.
Whatever happens to them, they will live with their actions a long, long time.
Just two sides of the same coin, really.
There are no words...
This isn't his funeral service. What Freepers do is discuss events. That's what we are doing.
Frantzie's off his meds. I think he's letting his disdain for people with non-European-sounding names color his perspective.
Actually no. We have a faction saying that the homosexual behavior of the young man was sad, wrong, and had consequences.
Wait, I forgot - to the Gay Activism Crowd, not celebrating homosexuality is hate.
I'd say that over-states things just a bit.
Homosexuality is a bad choice.
No one is happy that this individual took his own life.
I don't see any celebration here.
lol.... I used it quite consciously, and precisely for the reason you stated.
And you are behaving as if pointing out the consequence of sin is wrong. It's not. It is what we are to do.
Wow. Are you seriously suggesting that suicide is the expected and appropriate consequence for the dead kid's sin? What other sins do you suggest, for which the consequence should be suicide?
What a sad story. Prayers for the family and friends of the deceased.
Why does the guy not deserve privacy for a trist - he should do it in the hall? Would you feel the same about broadcasting if he were with a girl or wanted to be alone with a girl?
The lesson here is clear: Always check around for a web cam before making out with another dude.
