For those who voted to allow illegal immigrants to have social security benefits, my questions is: Other than to buy votes from illegals, why would you dilute my contributions and benefits from the Social Security program? As you might expect, the vote is mostly Democrats with a liberal sprinkling of RINO's.
WHO VOTED "NO" TO MAKE ENGLISH OUR OFFICIAL LANGUAGE? WHO VOTED AND HOW THEY VOTED...
It will soon be payback time for these traitors - forward this list to everyone you know...... Don't forget. November 2 is Take out the trash day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The following senators voted against making English the official language of America :
Akaka (D-HI) Bayh (D-IN) Biden (D-DE) Bingaman (D-NM) Boxer (D-CA) Cantwell (D-WA) Clinton (D-NY) Dayton (D-MN) Dodd (D-CT) Domenici (R-NM) Durbin (D-IL) Feingold (D-WI) Feinstein (D-CA) Harkin (D-IA) Inouye (D-HI) Jeffords (I-VT) Kennedy (D-MA) Kerry (D-MA) Kohl (D-WI) Lautenberg (D-NJ) Leahy (D-VT) Levin (D-MI) Lieberman (D-CT) Menendez (D-NJ) Mikulski (D-MD) Murray (D-WA) Obama (D-IL) Reed (D-RI) Reid (D-NV) Salazar (D-CO) Sarbanes (D-MD) Schumer (D-NY) Stabenow (D-MI) Wyden (D-OR)
Now, the following are the senators who voted to give illegal aliens Social Security benefits. They are grouped by home state. If a state is not listed, there was no voting representative.
Alaska : Stevens (R) Arizona : McCain (R) Arkansas : Lincoln (D) Pryor (D) California : Boxer (D) Feinstein (D) Colorado : Salazar (D) Connecticut : Dodd (D) Lieberman (D) Delaware : Biden (D) Carper (D) Florida : Martinez (R) Hawaii : Akaka (D) Inouye (D) Illinois : Durbin (D) Obama (D) Indiana : Bayh (D) Lugar (R) Iowa: Harkin (D) Kansas : Brownback (R) Louisiana: Landrieu (D) Maryland : Mikulski (D) Sarbanes (D) Massachusetts : Kennedy (D) Kerry (D) Montana : Baucus (D) Nebraska : Hagel (R) Nevada: Reid (D) New Jersey : Lautenberg (D) Menendez (D) New Mexico : Bingaman (D) New York : Clinton (D) Schumer (D) North Dakota : Dorgan (D) Ohio : DeWine (R) Voinovich(R) Oregon : Wyden (D) Pennsylvania : Specter (D) Rhode Island : Chafee (R) Reed (D) South Carolina : Graham (R) South Dakota : Johnson (D) Vermont : Jeffords (I) Leahy (D) Washington : Cantwell (D) Murray (D) West Virginia : Rockefeller (D), by Not Voting Wisconsin : Feingold (D) Kohl (D)
I can tell by some of the names the list is probably a good one, but without knowing the source of the compilation I don’t believe I’d be posting this myself.
85% of the American people want English to be the official language. Yet our elected officials vote it down. So how is this representative democracy. Throw the bums out.
I did verify the votes from my state, plus McCain and Lieberman, and then gave up.
Dude/Dudette!! I’ve got Jim Inhofe and Tom Coburn as my Senators. No worry there. YEAH!!!
How much more obvious could the whole Liberal agenda be? They vote against the default language this nation has used from its beginnings. And then most of the same vote to further bankrupt the already dead-end program called Social Security. Why? It has nothing to do with fairness (how fair is it - when I will ultimately pay in FAR more than I will every take from Social Security - and my children will be paying for TODAY’s checks to illegals....).
It is all 100% about pandering for votes. It is high-time we showed them the kind of votes they are buying -— votes right out of office.
Alaska : Stevens (R) GONE
]Arizona : McCain (R) ??
Florida : Martinez (R) GONE
Kansas : Brownback (R) GONE (Never did trust him)
Nebraska : Hagel (R) GONE
Ohio : DeWine (R) GONE Voinovich(R) GOING
Rhode Island : Chafee (R) GONE
South Carolina : Graham (R)
Most are gone... kind of tells us something.
Exactly. If I take what I paid in SS over the years, plus my employers’ contributions and figure I could have earned an average of 3% on that money for 43 years, at current benefit levels, I need to live to 127 to break even. My guess is that I’m going to leave some money on the table.
My current return on SS is 1% based on my expected lifespan. OTOH my ex-wife didn’t get half!
Man...why do these people in Az keep sending this guy back to D.C.?
There has got to be crooked politics goin on here.
If the majority of Az residents voted for the anti-illegal bill, why then would they vote to send a pro-illegal candidate back to Washington?
Hmmmmmm
Nebraska : Hagel (R)......GONE
Next up, Ben “Cornhusker Kickback” Nelson (D)...2012....GONE!!
Ya think!
When was the vote? I thought Murkowski was Alaskas Senator.
Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Which just proves that SS is nothing but a scam. Period. This is why GW Bush proposed (and was pounded for the suggestion) that the government allow real working people to KEEP part of what they had been contributing to invest themselves.
But remember - “we” have to pay for all the folks who work little or none their entire lives, yet draw different forms of SS benefits... disability, crazy checks, medicaid, etc... and now, paying illegals as well...
Makes one want to puke...
I remember when he said this and the fallout afterwards. The most common complaint: Oh, investing is too complicated...I don't want that responsibility. Well, for those idiots, let them stay in the system, but let those of us who still having neurons firing in our brain make our own investment decisions.
I vote for them to serve another term in JAIL.
but without knowing the source of the compilation I dont believe Id be posting this myself”
Since it took place in the past, when NObama was still a Senator, it probably came from Congressional Voting records. Public record.
Way too many (R’s) on that list. Throw ‘em OUT!
