Boehner seemed to get downright @issed at one point... or it sure seemed like he did.
In 2007 the population distribution was 55.6% black, 36.3% white, 8.3% Hispanic (of any race), 5% other (including Native Americans, Alaskans, Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders), 3.1% Asian, and 1.6% mixed .[20] Even though they compose the city's largest ethnic group, Washington has a steadily declining black population, due to many African Americans' leaving the city for suburbs. At the same time, the city's Caucasian population has steadily increased, in part due to effects of gentrification in many of Washington's traditionally black neighborhoods.[11] This is evident in a 7.3% decrease in the African-American population, and a 17.8% increase in the Caucasian population since 2000.[13] In addition, some African Americans are going to the South in a New Great Migration, because of family ties, increased opportunities and lower cost of living.[21]
In 2007, there were an estimated 74,000 foreign immigrants living in Washington, D.C.[20] Major sources of immigration include El Salvador, Vietnam, and Ethiopia, with some concentration of Salvadorans in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood.[22] The "Friendship Arch" is at the center of Chinatown.
The largest Hispanic group is Salvadoran, accounting for an estimated 18,505 of Washington's 45,901 Hispanics.[23] D.C. has a steadily declining African American population, due to many middle-class and professional African Americans moving to the suburbs, mostly in Maryland (for example, the African American majority in Prince George's County) and Northern Virginia aggravated by the rising cost of living in the area, in addition to the clear acceleration of gentrification.[24]
I am up in Tippecanoe County and am connected with a tea party group here. We are doing all we can for the republicans in the state and in this area.
Cannot wait to vote.
We are taking a group down to Indianapolis on October 16 for the Stop Obama care rally:

Yes he was, but he can handle the DBM with the best.
Thanks AC,I’m gearing up for the Rubicon and my gal Piper.
I am sorry I will miss that. I will be in London and won’t be home until the following Sunday.
Oh, there’s never anything substantive in the DMN, it’s strictly an arm of the demo party, even in the entertainment sections... even in the sports sections.
I despise the DMN. However, the puff pieces about the wives were at least interesting.
Thanks very much, Carolyn. I would have guessed the black percentage higher, but it’s a sufficient majority to swing elections. I’m so sorry the ‘education mayor’ lost.
Sorry to hear you will miss it, but have fun in London.
Please spread the word.
Holder: I voted for Gray in D.C. mayor’s race.
What do you make of that and why do you think Holder disclosed his vote?
Same is true with the Denver Post. Your Dallas Morning News used to be better when I lived there many years ago, but maybe I wasn’t knowledgeable enough to see through it.
We lived in Plano and then Rockwall over a year and enjoyed it, but I admit we were happy to move back to Denver.
Since both men were black i can’t lay it directly at the feet of racism, unless Holder had his boxers in a bunch about Fenty’s hiring practices also.
Damn! About a week and half ago, we broke the low record when it hit 69 in Lakeland. I was ready to break out....socks!
Ever since then, the national debt has increased every year. Even during the Clinton years, when the federal government reported budget surpluses, the debt increased. One year, it only rose $18 Billion, but it still went up.
Barack Obama is the first American President who was born after the last time the national debt decreased. That's his real legacy, even though the professional talkers and writers try to find other things to talk about with him.
Dims only want to tax income, not wealth.
“...fortunately, the lamestream press is going down.
Unfortunately, so is the rest of the private sector.”
Guess which one will bounce back first! ;o)
I was in Tampa last week and it was so cold I had to turn the a/c off and open the windows....LOL!!
Excellent post Bernard, the drivebys can talk about anything they want from education to who knows what. But when push comes to shove the country will tank from too much spending and too much debt.
Funny! About that same time, I was able to put the top down on my Corvette!
