THE United Nations was set today to appoint an obscure Malaysian astrophysicist to act as Earth�s first contact for any aliens that may come visiting.

Mazlan Othman, the head of the UN's little-known Office for Outer Space Affairs (Unoosa), is to describe her potential new role next week at a scientific conference at the Royal Society’s Kavli conference centre in Buckinghamshire.

She is scheduled to tell delegates that the recent discovery of hundreds of planets around other stars has made the detection of extraterrestrial life more likely than ever before - and that means the UN must be ready to coordinate humanity’s response to any “first contact”.

During a talk Othman gave recently to fellow scientists, she said: “The continued search for extraterrestrial communication, by several entities, sustains the hope that some day humankind will receive signals from extraterrestrials.
"When we do, we should have in place a coordinated response that takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject. The UN is a ready-made mechanism for such coordination.”

Because the aliens will be of no enduring interest to UN Socialists unless they can be taxed and controlled, I would imagine that they would forcibly teach the aliens French....a language symbolic of a society that has lost interest in freedom  and has embraced an all-encompassing Government.   Or perhaps Greek, but they would probably have an easier time teaching the aliens French..

I agree that it 'should' be, but after this most recent business of a muslim being made Miss USA, I felt that the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders would be a better choice because they will ALWAYS be on-message and they won't encourage the aliens to attack the infidels.  Those pageants don't seem to have high enough standards, it seems.  In fairness, I was pleased that the current Miss USA did in fact come out against the proposed Ground Zero Mosque, but that was merely good luck on our part that we can't count on for all time.  The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will never cause us a worry in that regard....they won't ever let down the Lone Star State and they won't let America down either.

I don't doubt the one world Dictatorship theory at all.

What I don't ponder or get hyper anxious about is it happening soon or even in a Freeper lifetime.

Humans have not been brainwashed and dumb downed enough to except a world without God.

Even if it did transpire in our life time I honestly (knowing most of the people in our neck of the woods) don't think it would change our daily lives.

Most of us are aged faithful Christians and watch out for each other in just normal life upsets/illnesses ect..

As many have told me when they travel away and come home “life here is quite uneventful/peace filled”

If the aliens are shown to be taxable in ANY way, then the bureaucrats will beat a path to their spacecraft's entry hatch and will magically find a way to communicate with their new cashflow stream...I don't believe that communication will be any sort of insurmountable concern as long as Socialists see something that they can control and bleed dry through confiscatory taxation.

Every Nation pushing for a World order is filled with leaders who have a corrupt heart. They have promised what they can never deliver and won’t....Every man who gains leadership in the UN wants control...and we know Power corrupts. The UN is all about ‘consolidation of Power’ just as the nations leaders desire.
When anyone watches the happenings of the UN you see this clearly....all the “helps” they offer are cards they play in their deck to manipulate power...it has nothing to do with the welfare of any countries peoples. Nothing whatsoever.
