NEW BRUNSWICK — A group of Rutgers University students repeatedly interrupted a speech by the school president today as they sought lower tuition for illegal immigrants at New Jersey colleges.

Rutgers President Richard McCormick was forced by students to stop four times during his 32-minute State of the University speech at the student center in New Brunswick.

Here’s an idea. Why don’t these Rutgers “students” each “adopt” an illegal alien and pay their way through college? Just trying to help them out with their dilemma.

If these left wing public school indoctrinated kids want lower tuition for illegals let them pay for a flight ticket for them back to their country and school tuition there. Problem solved.

I object to illegal aliens paying tuition at all - they shouldn’t be allowed to enroll.

I do not believe illegals should get automatic amnesty or anything else just cause they are here.

However, this country—including conservatives ( even Reagen !)have been hypocritical. For decades now we have allowed illegals here by not putting up a fence, by not sending them back, by not enforcing our immigration laws.

We DO share some blame here...by that I mean corporations, farm outfits, politicians..etc who MORE than ‘tolerated” this influx. We, by our behaviors.............this country encouraged illegal immigration.

To now just screech “Send them all back! Deport them!” is legally within our rights...but it is pretty hypocritical.

Before you start flaming away...I would start with:
1) build the fence and secure the border
2) Enforce the immigration policies with employers
3) Create a green card worker visa system that works!
4) Send back the criminal illegals.

THEN....create a way to citizenship with thsoe who have the green cards and they can apply.
Our immigration Department is the biggest joke!

In the interim until we get a secure border.....THAT is a GREAT idea!!

It would spur these children to face reality and maybe they would then work on real solutions, like a border, like arizona.

Easiest way I think is to deny illegals from obtaining anything - can’t get jobs would be the first thing that would send them back, or better yet. Since Mexico is all upset at Arizona’s illegal law, AZ should adopt Mexico’s illegal law. That should make them happy as well as that one SCOTUS judge who said we should look at laws outside the US .....

There’s a reason they’re called ‘students’. They have much to learn.

Funny, but if a group of students was demonstrating for smaller government, and for decreasing the national debt that their generation is going to have to pay a big part of the price for, the MSM would either ignore them or characterize them as fringe students etc. They only give credence to the utterances of students when those utterances agree with MSM liberal ideology.

Who's "we", kemosabe? The entire Tea Party movement is the result of years, if not decades, of the political class refusing to listen to the people. The Republicans, in fact, have been betraying their voting base for decades. Every time the people have tried to do the responsible thing, the political hacks have gotten in the way. Case in point: in California, Prop 187 passed with a easy majority back in 1996. If you are not familiar with it, it was the proposition that would have made it illegal to provide services for illegal aliens, or allow them to enroll in public school. So what happened to that? You guessed it - some a-hole judge declared it unconstitutional and the governor and AG refused to appeal. The will of the people was tossed aside. Now you are claiming that somehow we should feel guilt that "we" have been hypocritical? We have been nothing of the sort. We have been fighting against the ruling class AND the illegals for DECADES. Maybe now we might actually be able to accomplish something if we can get the treasonous RINOS and Dems out.

Reading the headline, I thought the students would be protesting tuition breaks for illegal aliens. Silly me!

The suggestion above to raise the other students’ tuition to cover the difference is an excellent idea.

I’m confused. This is a perfectly opportune time for these student protesters to demonstrate their solidarity with the unfortunate illegals.

Offer to pay more tuition than invoiced. Put your trust-fund money where your mouth is, preppy.

As far as I’m concerned by being here illegally they are criminal, therefore as regards to your number 4, they should all be sent back.

Morons. Doesn’t sound like they’re paying their own tuition. If they were, they’d realize they’re subsidizing the illegals.

These students just don't get it when in comes to economics. They simply have the belief that there is some sugar daddy somewhere who can pick up the check for this nonsense. If they were forced to pay then they would squeal like the pigs that they are.

How's the old saying go?

There's no job too tough as long as I can get someone else to do it for me.

Or how about:

There no cost that's too high as long as I can get someone else to pay it.

Dumbasses don’t care that a cut in tuition for illegals would result in their tuition going up because Mom and Dad are paying!
