In an ominous sign for President Barack Obama and congressional Democrats, independent voters now favor Republicans by nearly the same margins that they went for Obama in 2008 and for his party in the 2006 midterms, according to a survey by

A good sign, but NOT one that the GOP elite should take as a harbinger of support for them. We are literally fighting to save this country from destruction; the GOP, right now - in the hear and now of exigency, are simply a medium. Most Conservatives’ desires would be realized sometime after righteous power has been restored with their conveyance out of Washington DC on a goddam rail, tarred and feathered!
Then we must stomp on the "lame ducks"....ALL the lame ducks before January.
In point of fact, we, as citizens should demand a congressional recess from midnite, Nov. 2nd until the new group takes office in January 2011.
Absolutely correct sir. First things first: Neuter the Obamacrats by tossing out their congressional majority!
They have a chance here, it up to us to make sure they don't blow it.

..."veto proof" congress?..
..which would be Zer0's absolute nightmare....one which might drive him to my fondest wish for him.....
...resignation...
Next time we can (2012), and get rid of him at the same time!
Nice dream though. November 2nd!
If independents had any of their vaunted acumen, those who voted for the Obamanation would not have drunk his Koolaid. Let’s hope they make up for their gullibility and stupidity. No, I haven’t forgiven them yet, but hope to on November 3.
If they did that they would be conservatives and not independents. :o)
You can’t convince a fool of his folly until he has fallen into the ditch.
...a lot of us didn't think president Zer0 could ever be elected dog catcher, but look what happened....
....every crazy thing he does just adds a few more people to "our side", and the great thing is that he doesn't seem to notice, or he don't care, or the probable reason:, his crazy ideology is forcing him to do the crazy things he does.
His crazy wife, his crazy VP, his crazy "advisors, his crazy "czars" and his crazy cabinet members are not helping him much to "win over us folks" either.
The independents. It’s hard to know if they are truly principled in their indepence, democrat mole-trolls or simply fools who are easily swayed.
Still, it’s an example of how poorly the GOP has exemplified and educated the public on sound conservative principles, that we continue to worry about the finger-in-the-wind independents.
