Pennsylvania Rep. Patrick Murphy is confronting worrisome new poll numbers in his rematch against former GOP Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick.
A new Franklin & Marshall survey out Thursday morning shows Murphy trailing Fitzpatrick by a steep 49 percent to 35 percent margin among likely voters perilous territory for the two-term Democrat, who occupies a Bucks County-based 8th District seat.
The poll of 379 likely voters was conducted Sept. 14-19.

Bad news for this ultra-liberal "Blue Dog" is good news for Pennsylvania. Pelosi's boy toy is going down!

And with Sestak vs. Toomey [+6.8] and Corbett [+9.8] vs. Onorato there truly is hope for PA. It's not exactly TX... but, we may be able to cling on to our bibles and guns a while longer.

Actually his resume up until 2006 reads like someone who's right-thinking. Then things break down. Badly! Last year I tried several times to schedule a meeting with Murphy. As far as I got was Tony Wagener "Special Assistant/D.C. Scheduler". Finally had a meeting scheduled for 9/11... in DC for 9/12 anyway. He canceled at the last minute.
- If you're micro-district's congressman needs a "Special Assistant/D.C. Scheduler", FIRE HIM!
- If it takes more than 3 attempts to schedule a meeting with your congressman, FIRE HIM!

I did not know Bucks County was so Liberal.

Bucks County is a bedroom community for a lot of people who commute not only to Philly but to New York too. Seems the more townhouses and McMansions they cram in, the more “left” the county swings.

Been 30 years ince I was there. Must of been invaded by Liberals. It has happened this way throughout the country ever since almost every kid started getting herded through college whether it made sense for them or not. Now they live in places like Bucks County and bring their idiocy with them.
Unfortunately, most of them vote.

There was a thread here when that column came out last month.
When Murphy first won this “Bucks County” seat back in 2006, he won it without winning Bucks County. It was a sliver of Philadelphia that is gerrymandered into the district that put him over the top.
