Christie is NOT as conservative as this action would suggest. I’m pretty sure that the reason for the veto had more to do with belt tightening than the abortion issue. Nonetheless nobody can make the claim that Christie does not “walk the walk”. He’s gutsy as hell. NJ is lucky to have him.

Could be but I’m not sure I care at all.
God works in mysterious ways.
Christie is quite openly pro-life.
I’d trade him for our gov any time, plus the republican squish who looks like he will win this year.
I just tell people that Christie is PERFECT for New Jersey and that he is the definitive TEA party politician, and leave it at that.
Maybe Christie isn’t Jesse Helms, but he *is* pro-life. I’m sure he enjoyed this veto more than most.
You nailed it to a tee....
In terms of cutting spending on things that government should not be funding at all with tax dollars in the first place, this action is a conservative action. "Conservative" actually has much more to do with limiting size, scope, and power of government than it has to do with the abortion issue.
In this case, his fiscal conservatism ultimately supports social conservatism, whatever his view of abortion is. Praise be to God!
Cutting government and government spending is conservative.
Standing up to the socialists/democrats, their media, their genocidal programs, their big government makes Christie a hero.
No Christie is more than a hero he is a Republican.
