As far as I am concerned he is the most hated man in the GOP, I dislike him 20 times more than McCain even, I cannot believe this guy
From the perspective of the Democrats; I would agree. They control all three branches of the government, thanks to 'geniuses' like Rove and his ilk.
“Whatever he said, probably no worse than she deserves. Shes a nut and the seat is going to remain Democrat because shes a nut.”
What she deserves? For running for office? If the seat is lost because she’s unelectable, it’s the fault of the Delaware primary voters for picking the wrong candidate. Why don’t you call them nuts?
And what does that tell you?
That's my theory as well. Nothing else makes sense. When a man does something as bizarre, mean, and inexplicable as this, to a woman, you can bet your bottom dollar it's personal. If the romantic conquest fails, go for some other sort of conquest. To some guys, all body slams count; fail at the sexual, go for the existential body slam. As I said on election night, it couldn't be more obvious.
“Freepers are better than this... “
Freepers just have long memories. It’s going to more than a couple interviews with Rove making nice to erase the damage he did.
I think you are right!
Rove is in the background working for someone who wants to run in 2012. That person cannot beat Palin for the nomination if she is perceived as strong and backing enough people for the GOP to take control of the House and Senate.
That is simply not in his playbook!!!
His personal “pick” is more important than this country and what is happening to us all.
Rove had a taste of power and will do whatever it takes to get that power back.
Isn’t it ugly?
“From the perspective of the Democrats; I would agree. They control all three branches of the government, thanks to ‘geniuses’ like Rove and his ilk.”
Yeah, I guess I should have at least said “was” and not “is. My point being, is that it’s not his first rodeo, he knew exactly what his comments would accomplish, and he knows that even if he denounces them now, he’s already accomplished that goal.
Could it be there is just not enough blood reaching his brain?
I am not watching, so I cannot judge who is right and who is off base here. I wonder if some of the critics are watching or just engaging in a feeding frenzy, egged on by strategically placed trolls and Pat Buchanan supporters.
Rove has lost alot of credibility from his previous rantings. I’ve never liked him but didn’t expect the tirade he launched the other nite. Which imo, really has shed the light on the elitists thought process.
With that said, it’s good he was fair this evening but I don’t think it will count in anyone’s mind.
He was so brilliant, he advised against GW fighting back on all the personal garbage the dims threw at him day after day.
GW was loved after 9/11 and then the media and the dims decided they had to demonize him. Rove didn’t lift a finger to stop that or to combat any of it.
That demonization spilled over onto all the R’s and look where that got us? They have full control and that was their plan. The “turn the other cheek” gang helped them along the way.
“A belief they were given to by the original poster, but they should have have done some investigating before commenting on the matter. Ive gone off unchecked at times myself but it doesnt make it right...”
True, they shouldn’t attack him for things he didn’t say, but it’s tough to verify statements from a show that just aired if you didn’t see it, and there’s no link up on youtube yet. Considering Rove’s previous statements and how widely disseminated they were, I’m sure a lot of people didn’t think there was any reason to think this post suspect.
The original poster should issue a retraction, or some clarification about what “railing” was going on that nobody else seemed to notice.
An attempt at political inoculation? For the Dem and RINO criticisms of O'Donnell after they were as of just yesterday toasting Karl Rove? That would be slick - but I don't know if it would be necessary.
He did nothing for the Conservatives for 8 years. Not only was the foreign policy neocon, so was the domestic. No Child Left Behind? We wanted that? That must’ve been neocons.
And now he, and his neocon buddies are trashing Christine, a candidate that stands for Traditional Christian Values, which a majority of Americans embrace, including Democrat Voting blocs like elderly Catholics who just love JFK.
The neocons just lose us elections. The people did not like the war in Iraq, and a lot of people, Conservatives, not neocons, but Conseratives, were losing interest. Didn’t I see a “Mission Accomplished” banner? It was Done. Pack up. Go home. Hooray, big victory. And I guess the neocons made the decision at that point. Welcome President Obama.
I think a great test for Presidential candidates is: are any of these people part of your campaign team? If there are any neocons there, it’s a no go. You know that they’re just claw and claw and claw to get control and do things that conservatives hate. None. I’d rather have a handful of random Patriotic Americans.
“just engaging in a egged on by strategically placed trolls and Pat Buchanan supporters.”
Lol, Pat Buchanan supporters? Did the hot tub time machine send me back to 2000?
Exactly. Amazing the number of 'conservatives' here willing to forgive good 'ol Karl. He made it MORE DIFFICULT for the GOP candidate selected by the voters of Delaware to emerge victorious on November 2nd...period. No amount of his BS conciliatory 'backtracking' can change that.
I was on here a few months ago getting blasted for saying the GOP establishment was only interested in holding power.
The same way I would call anybody that voted for Barack Hussein Obama nuts!!! Not only would I call them nuts, I would call them dumb, ignorant, stupid, uninformed and unbalanced. And...that is only for beginnners!!! By the way, how’s that “Hope & Change” working out for you????
Rove is yesterday and he knows it. O’Donnell is tomorrow.
