As far as I am concerned he is the most hated man in the GOP, I dislike him 20 times more than McCain even, I cannot believe this guy
Why are you addressing me? I’m one of the people stating that poster was dead wrongin their assessment.
Snow and Brown were lamenting her win, or rather, Castles loss as a sign that there was no more room in the party for moderates. Wouldnt exactly call that an endorsement.
Someone needs to get a transcript and start a new thread.
Scythian posted no details and the attackers just jumped on the Attack Rove bandwagon....but he was actually praising her as a few of us who actually saw the interview have reported to no avail.
It’s the worst case of an ‘attack without reason’ thread I’ve seen in 12 years of posting!!!
Well, that’s very reasonable and it’s not really conspiracy like at all.
If Brown is the model, it isn’t just Brown, but every tea party candidate. And Brown was a politician, a State Senator, so it’s not that he was a political outsider.
The tea party candidate is a more attractive outsider than unattractive, old, political insider.
People don’t really want to elect “politicians” to the job of “politician”. They actually don’t like “politicians”.
I can find better candidates in sports illustrated billboard and variety than in any roll call.
“People need to grow up around here. Knee jerk reactions have become the norm.”
Dittos to that. Obviously only a few of us actually watched the show. Karl was complimentary to O’Donnell.
Hannity? Not a chance. I caught examples of Rove's inexcusable conduct around the web. I have no use for either of them...
I was pinging you to back me up....
Jeez, we want her to win already!!!
“Hey....your statement is not accurate!”
Thank you. I was starting to wonder if I had seen a different interview.
Amen. They are acting the same as those on the left. It’s embarrassing to watch.
While it was reasonable to be upset with rove for stuff he’s said in the past, it’s irresponsible to mischaracterize tonights appearance and has only served to “chum” the waters with respect to rove.
I agree, I thought he was as supportive as he could be. He talked about the great people she's bringing in and that she answered the questions.
Christine's right, it's time to come together. We need to get these creeps out of Congress and November might be our last chance. Rove isn't running, O'Donnell is.
We need to help her get elected, it is not hopeless, I think she has a good chance.
Oh, okay. :-)
Seems people who watched the show have been putting it straight here.
I’m not a fan of Rove but people cannot just go off on him for something he didn’t do. Feel free to attack him for his previous behavior but he did nothing tonight that would qualify as “railing” on her.
Rove was conciliatory. As one poster said on this thread, he walked back his words after the half hour long Hannity interview, which gave Rove the opportunity to hear O’Donnell expand on her answers about the criticism against her.
Rove thought that O’Donnell is putting together a good professional team to battle Chris Coons.
“Did you hear what Rove said? I dont like to see him attacked when he wasnt railing...he was praising Christine ODonnell!”
Yes, but most of the people attacking him are doing so for his previous comments, not because of some mischaracterization that’s going on now. I didn’t see his latest statement, but I did read about his reversal, which is good, but the damage is already done.
I’m not letting Rove off that easy, he’s a very smart political strategist, he knows that his comments are “out there” forever now, so retreating back to a different position just reads as “plausible deniability” on his part.
Whatever he said, probably no worse than she deserves. She’s a nut and the seat is going to remain Democrat because she’s a nut.
‘crestfallen’ is the word used to describe Snowe’s reaction to Castle’s loss. Disgusting
Karl Rove will not be thrown under the bus by me for his opinions of C.O. She has to prove him wrong. If she does, it’s all good. If she doesn’t, well, then he is right.
I hope she proves him wrong.
Hey....your statement is not accurate!
Thank you. I was starting to wonder if I had seen a different interview.
**********************************************
This thread is what I call a ‘hit & run’....no details to explain the statement in the title & no responses from the original poster to back up his charges!
Oh no I disagree. Half of the first comments were attcking him on the belief he was continuing his previous rants. A belief they were given to by the original poster, but they should have have done some investigating before commenting on the matter. I’ve gone off unchecked at times myself but it doesn’t make it right and Rove should be addressed for what he’s actually done. Not for what he did not do.
