INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - An Indianapolis woman whose two children were found dead on Sunday is finally speaking out.
Ebyan Farah, 28, spoke through her lawyers Wednesday night asking for privacy.
Ebyan Farah will have no public comment in this matter, except to say she is devastated by her childrens tragic deaths, Farahs attorneys said in a statement...

Just horrible. I cannot imagine what the surviving kids are going through psychologically at this point.
If she is guilty, she had better become accustom to attention. She is going to receive a lot of it, especially in prison.
And I want a yacht. Sometimes you just don't deserve what you want.
Religion of Pieces
And your kids wanted food, lady.
Tough!
“And I want a yacht. Sometimes you just don’t deserve what you want.”
You seem nice enough ... I think you deserve a yacht.
I think Farah deserves to ride the lightening though.
Somali muzzies
Dad was back in the “mother country” for a month or so
Mom accused of starving children to death wants privacy
If she gets life, she can rot and die alone. If she gets the needle, she can be buried alone in an unmarked grave. That’s plenty of privacy.
I'm paraphrasing the immortal words to the press given out by P. Diddy's press flack when J.Lo gave him the heave-ho after that unfortunate incident in NYC back in '99.
As a resident of Indiana, I'd much prefer she just be deported back to Somalia. Incarceration will cost the taxpayers a fortune in legal costs and prison time.
How horrible.
My heart goes out to her in the same way I feel so sorry for those poor little orphan Menendez brothers.
death is private...murder is public
Privacy is used as a cover to protect women when they get an abortion. Why not a post-birth abortion?
Lock her in the closet. It’s real private in there.
Magaalada Indianapolis ee gobolka Indiana ayaa (Axadii Sept 19, 2010) waxaa guri loogu dhex tegey laba carruur ah oo meyd ah iyo saddex kale oo aad u il daran. Waxaa la xiray hooyadood oo Soomaali ah oo magaceedu yahay Ebyan Farah oo 28-jir ah. Labada carruurta ah ee dhintay waxay ahaayeen 3-jir wiil ah iyo 5-jir gabar ah. Waxaana warbaahintu tibaaxday in aysan muuqan wax dhaawac ah oo carruurta ku yaaley balse ay u geeriyoodeen dayacaad (neglect).
Dhanka kale, warbaahinta magaalada Indianapolis ee Gobolka Indiana waxay ku celceliyeen in labada carrruurta ah ee dhintay, hooyada iyo saddexda carruurta ah ee nool ay dhammaantood ahaayeen kuwo aad iyo aad caato u ah (extremely thin) oo ay ka muuqatey nafaqa darro. Saddexda carruurta ee nool daduudu waa 7-jir, 5-jir iyo 1-jir. Waxaana hooyada lagu eedeeyey in ay dayacday.
Animals care for their young far better than this “human”.
This is the result of not holding the parents strictly responsible for the care & raising of their children, but instead, are urged to let the Gubmint (the village) do it for them. Generations have now been produced with no love or respect for anyone but themselves.
The saying that “nobody cares about your children but you” now needs to read “nobody cares about your children INCLUDING you”.
Disgusting.
Dehydration suspected; mom charged with neglect
The detective investigating the deaths Sunday of two children on the citys Southwestside said they, as well as their mother and surviving siblings, appeared to be extremely thin and possibly suffering from dehydration.
...
Their mother, Ebyan Farah, 28, was arrested and charged with two counts of neglect. Police were considering filing additional charges against her. She is the only suspect under investigation.
Three surviving children, ages 7, 5 and 1, were taken into protective custody by the Department of Child Services, which could mean theyre with family members or in foster care. DCS spokesperson Ann Houseworth declined to elaborate.
The Farah/Hassans are among a half-dozen families from war-torn Somalia living in the apartment complex. They have lived there about four years, neighbors said.
...
Kline, 45, whose mother lives next door, said the children were often outdoors even in the recent extreme heat, and that theyd be beating and kicking at the door, trying to get inside.
...
The Klines did not alert authorities we didnt know who to call, said Janice Kline.
It does not appear we had an open assessment, or investigation, of the family, said DCSs Houseworth. Obviously, we do now.
Farah spoke some English and could drive. Her minivan was parked outside the apartment Monday. http://somalitalk.com/2010/09/21/indianapolis-mother-arrested-in-deaths-of-two-children-in-southwestside-apartment/
One glass of wine is not supposed to do this.
I think there is something seriously wrong with my eyes.
I have the paramedics on the way. :)
