Oh no, I have never even heard Rush as I am at work and can’t get AM radio.

So I won’t be able to get Larry either. :(

It will be great to have his sage wisom back on the air here in Lost Angeles. But I have a problem...Glenn Beck is on at the same time. Guess I’ll have to work out a schedule.

Out here in L.A., Beck is on KRLA from 6a-9a. Then 9-12 will be Rush, Prager, and Larry. 12-3 is Hannity and Medved, 3-6 is Levin, Hewitt/taped Gallagher, John and Ken.

I can podcast Rush, and the only times I really listen to Prager are when Rush is on vacation. I hope Larry has a podcast.

No, WE don’t call them Doyers in L.A.

I was born in this city, have lived here almost all my life, and have been a LOS ANGELES DODGERS fan since Opening Day, 1958.

Give it a rest, Mr. Boring Know Nothing.

No problem for me. I don’t listen to Rush much anymore, and Prager has become terminally egotistically BORING.

I wonder who KABC will air in the evenings once Dodger season is over... will it be Phillips?

I’m not sure who “Joe Crummey” is......

Good for you. They’re all cookie-cutter cheerleaders for you-know-who and you-know-what. LOL!!

Can Larry lure you back? Can he lure me back?
I’ll give a listen next week.....

Oops. Pinged you to the wrong thread!

GOOD NEWS -- Larry Elder's back on the air! The only way it would be better would be if he was in the noon to 3 slot. I also wonder if Rush has ever considered having Larry guest-host.

I loved Larry's mom, but you know, the way Larry talks about his dad, he was a pretty big influence, as well. Equal, I'd say. My dad and Larry's dad sound a whole lot alike to me.

When he had his show on KABC before (I think it was 3 to 6?), the callers are what really made a lot of the show and the whole statement. They were everyday local (Southern California, or "L.A." to most of the U.S.) people like me, working, educated, productive people, trying to earn a living and enjoy their lives in this crazy metropolis. All accents, all colors, all types, plus a nice sprinkling of liberals naively set to tangle with Larry! Elder is at his core principles a limited government conservative -- like his dad, I hazard a guess! He's always consistent and always treats even the worst idiots with a polite dignity, so liberals are always sunk, and it's usually a hoot. His callers let me know what it looks like out there in beautiful, bustling, nutso So Cal.

And he's BACK! Hooray. Couldn't be a better Rush back-up just a push-button away.

Good news, he’s replacing those 3 knuckleheads Heidi, Frosty and Frank. The collective IQ of KABC just went up 25 points.

You and I just fail to catch the nuance of irreverent humor about serious topics. *gghhhaaaaaaaackkk* No kidding, that's how their sniggering, vulgar airtime adolescence was described by our local paper's radio reviewer.

I knew two things just from hearing the promos for Frosty, Heidi, & Frank when they first arrived what, a year ago? I knew that:

1. They'd be gone sooner than later.

2. If Mark Levin got wind of the borderline obscene ads promoting three potty-mouthed pubescents ... er, excuse me, that's irreverent hosts ... taking on topics of culture and current events during his show, he'd have marched into the studio next time he was in L.A. and shred them like cheap curtains in front of everybody.

IF their mothers listened to those promos (I don't remember the details as I've blocked them out; suffice it to say much variable talk about genitals and sexuality, all "irreverent," of course), those mothers would cringe and so would Frosty, Heidi, and Frank if they were at that moment sitting next to their mothers.

Every time -- and I mean EVERY TIME -- I have ever heard Larry Elder on the air, even with the rudest clown blind with anger and contempt at the other end of the line, Larry has behaved in a way that would make his mother smile knowing she'd raised a good, manneryly man.

Pretty big contrast between Larry and FH&F. Good riddance to the latter.

I heard Larry talking about his return to KABC 790 AM on Hannity’s show last week.

This is very good news for L.A., and for the conservative movement. He’s been sorely missed.

He’s got a family.

What? Mr. Perennial Bachelor himself, now has a family? Wow. Very cool.

I don’t listen to Rush much anymore

BLASPHEMER! HERETIC! lol...

Seriously - why not?

I hear you about Dennis Prager, though. I tried listening to him a couple of times recently, and his pace has slowed down so much, that it seems kind of self-indulgent to me. He rambles, and seems to have a hard time getting to the point. The show sounds sort of aimless to me now.
