He will be heard from 9 - Noon (PST). Sample his columns at Townhall.com
He’s coming back! WOW awesome news. I really enjoyed listening to him. The sageeeeeeeeeeeeee from South Central
Great. I like Larry. His slot will be a tough one, since Rush is heard in that time slot in Los Angeles.
That is the problem. He is going up against Rush.
I can Rush’s program each day. I can listen to it later.
Larry’s a good guy. I hope he makes it. KABC knows he’s not going to pull in Rush’s numbers. We’ll see how it goes.
I encourage folks to give him a listen.
I’ll just flip around back and forth. I like them both, SO glad that Larry is returning. He is AWESOME!
thank YOU!
Good news, he’s replacing those 3 knuckleheads Heidi, Frosty and Frank. The collective IQ of KABC just went up 25 points.
This is great news! thanks. And for those of you who never heard his opening song......I think it’s one of the best...here it is:

Hope he has a podcast. Just checked on iTunes, didn’t see one yet.
Yes, he is. His easy going style and non-confrontational demeanor serve him well. For those who haven’t heard him, he can take the libs to task with ease too.
He’s a well spoken Black that believes as we do, and that’s a programming niche that I want to be presented to Los Angeles.
He’s got a family. He’s an honorable man.
His return is long overdue.
Apparently KABC is also bringing back Al Rantel, Marc Germain (formerly Mr. KABC), and Bob Brinker, whose financial show is returning to 790 AM on Oct. 10. Germain is hosting "Red Eye Radio" on Saturday nights. Rantel will frequently appear on Phillips' evening program.
Ironically, Larry will also be going up against his friend Dennis Prager, who was responsible for bringing him to LA.
Hey that’s right. I don’t listen to Dennis, but I have listened to him a lot over the years, and I like him too.
Gettin’ crowded...
It’s interesting they’re bringing that whole line-up in. Wow.
Thanks for the mention.
Guess this signals Dodger Baseball is Over. Yes, I’m pleased — we’ve got a lot more choices out here and Al Rantel’s return is most welcome. Good News
Now if only the Dodger ownership squabble was over. I’m surprised Obama took a pass on suggesting they should donate it to charity.
Awesome! I have certainly missed The Sage from South Central.
Can’t wait!
Crowded indeed, but it’s good to have options.
If KABC were smart, they would alternate commercials with KFI so that Rush listeners switch over. I’m sure they’ll stay thru the segment if Larry is compelling (which he is indeed).
