Excellent, thank you, when does this start?
I just cannot get into “Frosty, Heidi and Frank,” needless to say.
Baseball games do not usually occur between 9:00 a.m. and Noon.
The Doyers play road games back east sometimes. They start at 1pm EST (10am PST).
You know what, I support that kind of out of the commercial segment thinking. Har. Its’ worth a try isn’t it.
The DODGERS road games that start that early would be on the WEEKENDS, not during weekday talk radio time. Maybe you can “school” me on something else sometime, but not on the Dodgers and baseball.
It’s ABOUT TIME, KABC! Congratulations on a great move.
Oh, and here's a Thursday game @ 9:30 am.
That was just in the first month of the season.
There was no need for you to get hostile.
Glad Larry is back, even if he’s in a bone-crusher of a time slot.
re: baseball games not occuring in the a.m.
I was referring to bringing back the whole line up that was on before 790 decided to interrupt programming for baseball games.
Is Larry Elder any relation to PGA golfer Lee Elder?
re: the baseball ownership fiasco
Did you see todays events where the lawyer admits to changing pages of their agreement AFTER the couple had signed them to favor the husband. What a mess.
It will be great to have his sage wisom back on the air here in Lost Angeles. But I have a problem...Glenn Beck is on at the same time. Guess I’ll have to work out a schedule.
IMO< that lawyer is on the fast track to prison. I knew that was in the works as of yesterday evening. Was the husband privy to it?
Yesterday they were saying it looked like the wife would be awarded the team because of the tampering.
Ouch!
My impression was that he got the team because she didn’t want to be exposed to that bad investment, and she got all their properties.
I’ll have to tell you, give me a couple of million and I’ll leave you alone for the rest of my life. I just don’t get people who squabble over money when it gets to this level.
Stand by your agreements. Part as friends. Life is too fricken short.
Don’t remember if this lawyer is “Chicago” or not but somewhere back East. I don’t know if the husband did this intentionally, but I liked the part about how the lawyer “says” he didn’t even have the secretary type it but typed it himself after hours and then inserted the pages.
Her lawyer seemed pretty pleased today — will probably make a bundle.
Great news! Finally! Wooohoooo! The Sage from South Central returns! Hello El Doradoes! Hopefully this is the signal of good radio programming for KABC.
Just yesterday I was remembering Larry Elder's opening theme song, the first 20 seconds from Shotgun Jr. Walker and the All Stars and wishing KABC would bring him back.
I would like him from noon - 3PM.
Monday, the 27th at 9 a.m. through noon. He had fantastic numbers in drive time. Now he's going up against Rush Limbaugh. I hope that KABC programming isn't shooting themselves in the foot again.
Frosty, Heidi and Frank stink. I can't get to the off button fast enough when they are on.
I wish they would put Larry Elder in afternoon drive time again, move Peter Tilden to 7pm-10pm, put McIntyre at 10pm-2am and bring back Joe Crummey in the mornings.
Yes, I’m sure her lawyer was pleased. And please, how did this guy think adding pages was going to fly?
Good grief.
The problem with Larry being on in the afternoon is the Dodger broadcasts. When the Dodgers came back to KABC, Larry frequently had all or part of his show preempted. I remember because it drove me nuts.
With him being on in the morning there will still be some preempting - when the Dodgers play afternoon road games in the East. However, it won’t be nearly as bad.
That's a good question, GSWarrior.
Looking briefly at their bios, there are similarities in that they share the same surname, race, both were driven and worked hard to succeed, both have lived in Los Angeles and both Lee Elder and Larry Elder have relatives in Los Angeles.
Larry Elder
Lee Elder
