Obama: "We can absorb a terrorist attack" (Woodward book)
Washington Post ^

Woodward's book portrays Obama and the White House as barraged by warnings about the threat of terrorist attacks on U.S. soil and confronted with the difficulty in preventing them. During an interview with Woodward in July, the president said, "We can absorb a terrorist attack. We'll do everything we can to prevent it, but even a 9/11, even the biggest attack ever . . . we absorbed it and we are stronger."

But can we “absorb” an idiot president?....
To: quesney
“We” meaning “You rednecks out there,” of course.
As with clinton, it is necessary to “parse” his words carefully. Because it depends what the meaning of “is” is.

I’m sure those who’d die in such an attack and the families of these victims can all feel as cavalier as Obama who’d prefer to just “absorb” a terrorist attack than to focus on implementing policies that would forestall one, all so he can focus instead on imposing the most radical domestic agenda in the history of the Republic.

Appalling statement.
More proof that he considers Americans rabble.

After hearing this, with the current attitude of this administration, and the Democrats, can we trust them with national security ?

We need to make that line into a commercial and play it in New York, with images of the people falling out of the twin towers behind it. Perhaps we can get a trip to the Govonor’s mansion or a Senate seat out of it.

What measures are in place to remove a pathological imbecile liar harming America beyond words from office? Seriously we survived Jimmy Carter, as a bad president is a bad president but Obama is unfit for duty.
To: quesney
Sounds as if he has no intention of striking back.

WELL... I guess Woodward cares more about money than helping the Dems in the mid-term election... ;) The LAST thing the Dems need is that idiot in the White House pontificating to Bob Woodward ;) On a serious note, I hope and pray we don’t have to test Obama’s cold theory.

Chilling, isn't it? :-O I
posted about this earlier, and just heard Rush reference it and compare the 'absorb it' remark to Dukakis' infamous answer to 'if your wife were raped and murdered' question. Both LOSERS.
