A senior administration official who read the book says "the President comes across in the review and throughout the decision-making process as a Commander in Chief who is analytical, strategic, and decisive, with a broad view of history, national security, and his role."
The official says of the descriptions of the infighting in the book that "the debates in the book are well known because the policy review process was covered so exhaustively."
White House officials are still matching New York Times excerpts with anecdotes in the book but one says not all the quoting is fair, especially Vice President Biden saying Holbrooke is “the most egotistical bastard I’ve ever met.”

I cannot wait until we see all of this stuff refuted by someone else. Woodward is part of the Obama disinformation campaign and this was timed to get out right before the November election for a reason.
Woodward’s book is complete garbage.
Wait until the mass book release comes out about Obama and his lack of credentials for qualifying to be elected, who covered it up and who is the ultimate little voice in Obamas head.

Woodward must have two different books coming out. I caught a bit of the discussion on CNN this morning and it was all about how Obama was brilliant in how he analyzed the situation, and worked so hard at studying the intelligence reports. Switched it to Fox & Friends and they were talking about all the revelations that will embarrass the administration. It didn’t sound like they were talking about the same book.

Come on folks, this only proves that Woodward is racist.
By all accounts, that seems to be the reaction to the book: Obama’s decisions are shaped solely by how they may affect elections.
