A tragedy, and a reminder to all of us of how quickly lives can be ruined.

A tragedy, and a reminder to all of us of how quickly lives can be ruined. Yes, you know never now when you'll be ambushed by an SUV.
But riding your bike on the street probably increases your chances somewhat.

Didn’t Rush used to have a segment called “When SUV’s attack?”

From her
web site:
The concerns Americans have need to be heard. Whether those concerns are our troops overseas fighting wars we know about (and wars we do not), environmental pollutants and catastrophes like the BP oil spill, foreclosure, job loss, health care, crime, sexism, racism, or a lack of bike paths, they need to be heard.
And what's that about fighting wars we don't know about? Huh?

That bicycle hung up under the car had to have been making an unholy racket, and this woman didnt even stop to look. She is dumb enough to vote for Mikulski.
And NO, I don’t believe her story.

You know Rush’ll be all over this, saying the SUV was out for revenge, etc.

Sounds like she practiced what she preached, which I can respect. Not unlike Ed Begley Jr., a somewhat celebrity is a environut to the core but he lives the lifestyle.
One thing these people either forget or or too stubborn to admit is that the green lifestyle is not practical in the 21st century some of the time. Riding a bike instead of driving a car is admirable, but at 5:30 AM this time of year is not a good idea because it is dark out.
