Sounds like she practiced what she preached, which I can respect. Not unlike Ed Begley Jr., a somewhat celebrity is a environut to the core but he lives the lifestyle.

One thing these people either forget or or too stubborn to admit is that the green lifestyle is not practical in the 21st century some of the time. Riding a bike instead of driving a car is admirable, but at 5:30 AM this time of year is not a good idea because it is dark out.

All we know is that she was found, still alive, at 5:30am. Doesn’t say when she was hit. Could have been at 8 or 9pm the night before, or even earlier.

The woman dragging the bike under the car thing, though. They didn’t mention if alcohol was involved. Who the heck keeps driving if they think an animal is under the car?

I saw these 2 a$$holes blocking/causing traffic (a good 10 car build up behind them) today riding side by side on a single lane road (35 MPH), stupid helmets, stupid riding clothing, stupid smirks on there faces. Good thing I was going the other way... rush hour dumb a$$’s.

I used to ride a bike everywhere, mainly for exercise, not because I am a greenie. I stopped abruptly one day when I saw a guy run over by a logging truck. He was riding a bicycle and fell over in front of the truck and it ran over his head. His brains were lying out on the road and everyone that drove slowly past the scene was treated to this grisly site. I quit riding that day and have only been on a bicycle under careful conditions since then. Call me a coward but a bicycle is not compatible with motor vehicles.
